I took the Diflucan. Day 5 i got my period. What do i do now?? And can i re-fill my Diflucan to take when i am thru with the antibiotic?? And really no tampons?? at all??

The changes in your cycle (bleeding days) could definitely be from changing from the Brand (Ortho) to the Generic. Generic medications can have a variance of the main ingredients. As far as the Diflucan goes, first I hope it got rid of your yeast infection - if not try Terrazole, it's a vaginal cream. So I don't think it will weaken the effectiveness of your BC pill. Sometimes on a pill your periods will get very light.

ve seen some type of symptoms by now besides my yeast infection. She attributes my stool change in color to to much diflucan in a short period if time. She also said that after 6 months the core igm should be more accurate anyways. Any thoughts?

In late June I was diagnosed with my first yeast infection. I took monistat and diflucan and the infection went away quickly. A couple weeks later I got a UTI. A few days after finishing the antibiotics I began to have the same symptoms as the yeast infection and took diflucan and monistat again. A couple weeks after that irritation I experienced similar symptoms again. I took monistat for a day and I was fine.

t have much itching or burning sensation or even difficulty urinating, no pain during intercourse, no foul odor, the only problem is the white cottage cheese discharge that kept on coming back before and after my period, but now it stays long for a week or two, and it's bothering me, i tried eating yogurts and acidophilus, drinking cranberry juice, well maybe it helps because i don't have the itching and soreness problem, but still the white discharge is there, which i will only find out

I had my first ever yeast infection November 2017 right after my period. It was itchy as all hell and when I looked inside it was completely white like I've never seen before. I talked to a few friends and they all said take a Monistat and it'll be gone in a week. WRONG. The monistat (1-day) burned my vulva! I was on fire and swollen and when I saw everyone else had those side effects I went to urgent care and got a diflucan.

They didnt want me to talk diflucan that early. I am the same way as u. Nothing works but diflucan for me. so i know how u feel.

Hi all, I will be 7 weeks pregnant tomorrow and I am dealing with a nagging yeast infection. It started back in late January and I had to do 2 treatments of Monistat (1 day treatment) and it went away for awhile and then it came this month...and it goes up and down. Its like at certain times of day I'm really itchy and then I'll go a few days with nothing. My discharge is kind of watery, not thick at all. I'm worried about BV.

I visited a urologist who took a swab test(turned out mild bacteria) and put me on diflucan and advised me to get circumcised once cleared as he diagnosed phimosis.Post taking diflucan my urination increased and mild testicle ache strtd. I got circumcised the following week now its 2 weeks. I am having mild fever and a slight sore in my throat post circumcision.

ve had terrible problems with yeast my whole life, so my doctor called me in diflucan and that helped for a while. I was also called in cipro to see if it would help with anything urinary related. My last period started on August 29th and ended September 3rd.
