diflucan and late period

I took the Diflucan. Day 5 i got my period. What do i do now?? And can i re-fill my Diflucan to take when i am thru with the antibiotic?? And really no tampons?? at all??

I have always started on Wednesday, and randomly the last two months I have started Thursdays. This month I had a yeast infection and took prescription Diflucan. And I had to take to to kill off the yeast infection. I had some bleeding yesterday, so I out in a tampon. I went to change it, and there was no blood on it. So this morning, when I went pee in the morning, there was a lot of blood. So I inserted a tampon and went to change it, and again...very little to no blood.

Taking treatment for it and both the period and the infection are going away, but if anything, I definitely learned my lesson and hope this helps others too!

She recommended a gyn doctor that is good with diseases but he is no longer at the hospital she sent me too. I am constantly getting creams and diflucan for the yeast infections. I feel that my gyn is not meeting my need. I do not want to live on the creams and diflucan. I heard about a gyn on the radio that I would like to go to. I will make an appointment with her. I never took diflucan long term. I will get two diflucans at one time.

I'm 16 weeks and I'm suffering from a horrible yeast infection. I took 7 days of terazol and 3 days of monistat. Neither helped. Creams usually don't on me. Diflucan is the only thing that works but my dr. said he doesn't prescribe it during pregnancy. I'm so sick of it. I'm miserable. Has anyone ever taken diflucan when they were pregnant? What are the side effects to the baby?

My period lasts for 5 days, the first three I bleed brown and kind of clotty. The fourth day I hardly bleed if any at all and the 5th day it's red. I often experience burning as well and even though its particularly bad around my bleeding, it happens randomly all month. The burning is only around my labia minora and clitoral areas, nothing actually inside my vagina.

Took Hep B core Ag, Igm test at 10 weeks and 6 1/2 months. Both negative, but do I need to take a surface test or any other tests to confirm?

In late June I was diagnosed with my first yeast infection. I took monistat and diflucan and the infection went away quickly. A couple weeks later I got a UTI. A few days after finishing the antibiotics I began to have the same symptoms as the yeast infection and took diflucan and monistat again. A couple weeks after that irritation I experienced similar symptoms again. I took monistat for a day and I was fine.

Did a urine test for STDs (chlamydia, gonnehrea) all negative. He prescribed Diflucan and gave me 2 pills. I took the first one and the symptoms got a lot better. Then (my thought is it wasn't fully healed) after sex it returned. So I took another Diflucan, everything seemed cool. Then I got a really bad cold and was prescribed a Z pack. Surprise! Yeast was back. So I went to the doctor and this time they did a "wet mount" turns out I had BV and Yeast together.

I went to urgent care for treatment and was given diflucan and it didnt put a dent in it, so I went back. I was given more diflucan and it didnt do anything. I waited to see a gynocologist and had a pap smear and STD test, went back for an HPV screen. I was negative for it all and was given diflucan by her as well. I went back to her a second time and she gave me a cream for a yeast infection after admitting she didnt see signs for one and didnt know why I would be burning.

t have much itching or burning sensation or even difficulty urinating, no pain during intercourse, no foul odor, the only problem is the white cottage cheese discharge that kept on coming back before and after my period, but now it stays long for a week or two, and it's bothering me, i tried eating yogurts and acidophilus, drinking cranberry juice, well maybe it helps because i don't have the itching and soreness problem, but still the white discharge is there, which i will only find out

The following day I had a pelvic exam with my gyno and she gave me another diflucan to take a few days later and some antibiotics to take after so I could clear up a possible bacterial infection. Month passes and I'm finally feeling back to normal I'm having sex with my boyfriend aand everything feels great...until I get my period again. My tampons are itchy around my vulva and irritate me. (they're unscented).

It was a few days before my period and I had been sweating alot so I figured I might have a yeast infection. I took some Diflucan and the pain and inflammation decreased a little the next day but the hemorrhoid is still quite painful. Is there a link between hemorrhoids and vaginal pain or could this just have been a yeast infection as well? I have heard that pressure from the hemorrhoids can actually cause pain in the vagina.

i just finished the treatment 2 days ago....and i still have it!!!!! In the past the only thing that worked for me was Diflucan.....is it safe to use at this point in my pregnancy? Or..what should i use??? I'm desperate!!! Please Help!!!! Thank You!!

But because the flucanazole/diflucan never worked before -- I assume it to be a coincidence and that the discharge stopped on its own. A month free of yellow discharge and I get brown spotting mid cycle. I thought mum must've set me off because she started her period early and we always get them at the same time. After the spotting stops -- the yellow discharge is back! Woe is me!

Hi all, I will be 7 weeks pregnant tomorrow and I am dealing with a nagging yeast infection. It started back in late January and I had to do 2 treatments of Monistat (1 day treatment) and it went away for awhile and then it came this month...and it goes up and down. Its like at certain times of day I'm really itchy and then I'll go a few days with nothing. My discharge is kind of watery, not thick at all. I'm worried about BV.

I visited a urologist who took a swab test(turned out mild bacteria) and put me on diflucan and advised me to get circumcised once cleared as he diagnosed phimosis.Post taking diflucan my urination increased and mild testicle ache strtd. I got circumcised the following week now its 2 weeks. I am having mild fever and a slight sore in my throat post circumcision.

I had several rounds of diflucan with no luck. And last time I went to the doctor..I was on my period at this time and I was tested again and no yeast was present and no stds were positive. But sense I've started having green discharge my doctor went ahead and gave me metronidazole. That cleared up symptoms better than anything else. And I was also advised to have my boyfriend wear condoms and we have but green discharge is now back.

My period is 42 days late never have the happened that means 3 missed period and many negative hpt test what should I do my doctor isn't helping much UGHH and the blood work I sent in for I have to re do any ideas what it can be ???

if you stop bleeding really early take another test but if you were 14 days late your pregnancy test would have showed up positive. i was only 2 weeks late and mine was positive.
