Dear doctor! How long can I use Differin (adaferin, adapalene)?
I started using Differin in May, but I now realize Differin also contains Adapalene. Should I be worried about sun exposure while using Differin/adapaline? I noticed the container says not to use it on sunburns, but nothing about not using it in the sun.
I use the cream at night, but I also realize that it's a long term treatment... and as such just because I use it at night, does not mean the sensitivity is gone in the morning/day.

Ok so I have been prescribed differin gel for "acne" problems. I recently had a huge one with deep cyst (when i touch it i can feel hardness under the skin)...then it formed a white head and oozed a lot of pus (and some blood) after which it stopped being painful. My question is can I still keep on applying differin gel on top of the acne even though it's "broken" skin? The differin seems to help calm the inflammation pretty quick and dry it out...
I can understand your concerns. I’ll start with the sulfur tasting burps. Sulfur taste in mouth is usually associated with problems like post nasal drip (quite possible in your case as you had sinusitis), diabetes, liver problems and initiation of sulfur forming bacteria in mouth. Food allergies to sulfur dioxide (used as preservative in certain food items) and vitamin B12 deficiency can also cause a sulfur taste in mouth.
In response I thought I was lactose intolerant as well I have been having sulfur burps now for most of my life it started out occurring once every couple of years with the frequency increasing as I got older. I tried cutting out dairy and that helped for 2 years then they came back and not only am I burping sulfur and diarreah and nausea and a lot of gas that bloats me and makes me look pregnant. I am now throwing up blood.
he put me on oracea 40mg once a day and differin gel 0.3%....i was reading the paper that comes with oracea~doxycycline and it says it doesnt kill bacteria now im getting worried because minocycline does kill bacteria now im worried i will break out more from the oracea.it says its for rosacea but doest oracea work to kill acne to or no?and the differin gel 0.3% isnt this not as strong drying to dry up pimples as retin a micro 0.1%?
He gave me differin and it worked ok.While i was using the differin i was working all summer long outside and usually wore a hat.Well two years later ever since my forehead is my natural skin color which is pale.The rest of my face is very red.I have very oily skin and my skin breaksout if i put lotion or toners on it usually.Is there any advise on how to get my skin to even out and get this redness to go away.Please help.
i also wash face with mild cleanser and apply moisturizer, after apply moisturizer on my nose still becomes more oily. I went to see the dermatologist and he given me the differin cream, differin also make my nose oily and did not stop the oil production,which is also not helping, i very hopeless right now. please help with my oily nose.
Whenever I get the stomach bug or am going to throw up, it always starts out with sulfur burps. The burps get worse and worse until I get nauseous and throw up. I have been taking Align probiotic for 5 years or so. At one point I tried to see if I could get off of it, so I stopped taking it. However, I then experienced sulfur burps and vomiting and went back to taking the probiotics daily. Within the past 3 or 4 months, I decided to start taking the probiotic every other day.
It first starts out just with the sulfur burps then it slow transfers into throwing up, and or diarrhea its horrible. then the day after the sulfur burps i get this terrible cough. I keep getting it i have had it approximently 4 times in five moths. What the heck is it?

Yesterday I received a Lipo-Plex injection (B12 with Lipotropics) that contains Methionine a sulfur containing amino acid. I have a Sulfa allergy (normally get an extremely high fever). Should I be worried? I haven't had any side effects. Feeling a little flushed (hot) but that is about it. Otherwise I feel great. Can I continue with these shots? Thanks!
I'm sorry you aren't feeling well! Sulphur or rotten egg smelling burps comes often from food we've eaten and the breaking down of that food. They are not unusual things but every day things but something didn't agree with you. The microbes that break down the sulfur foods can then have an end product that you smell in your burps. H pilori is one of these. And we all know that that is also implicated in ulcers. If this continues, you should see your doctor.
I have had egg burps/sulfur burps once at age 16, once at age 26 and 2 weeks ago, just after turning 38...had egg burps with vomiting with diarrhea, gas and bloating (unlike previous times). Yesterday the egg burps started again along with nausea. 1 Tbs of baking soda in a glass of water CURED ME within 1 hour. I drank the baking soda mixture....felt more nauseous for a few minutes....started burping up a storm and within 5 minutes the burps were gone....the sulfur was gone....
I'm a 13 year old and over a month and a half I've been getting sick every other week. I start to get light sulfur burps around 4 pm. I wake up around 2 am with a terrible stomachache and awful sulfur burps. The sulfur burps are so strong it feels as if there's a carbonation and it makes me feel. Along with thAt I get really bad gas. So ill go to the bathroom around 6 am and the 1st night of this I throw up 2x and in the throw up is usually what is ate for dinner.
I messed with it a little bit, and the next day it had swollen up and was warm, like an infection. Since then, I have been using Abreva and Differin on it. The Differin makes the largest difference – it reduces the size significantly.

I have sulfur water where i live, i usually buy water from the store but ran out tonight. Dies anyone know if sulfur water is bad to drink when you're pregnant? 22 weeks and ftm.
my urine has a strong "sulfur" type odor. i have no other symptoms of a bladder infection. i have no pain or discomfort. my urine is normal color. "sulfur" is the only way i can describe this odor. is this normal?
