Differin eyebrow wax

Common Questions and Answers about Differin eyebrow wax

differin

Avatar n tn Hello, When you are waxing, apply wax in the direction of hair growth and wax should be tolerably hot. Then try to wax the hair out in a single strip as multiple strips may injure the skin more .After waxing apply ice(wrapped in a towel) and some calamine lotion on the skin which helps in soothing. You can also take some over the counter anti-inflammatory like ibuprofen after waxing.
1328841 tn?1315683816 I was done, i got up, paid for the wax, walked out into the mall and BAM my body feels extremely distressed and i was on the verge of vomiting. IT WAS JUST AN EYEBROW WAX! I guess what i am asking is has anyone reacted oddly to stress or pain and then found out it was probably because they were pregnant? Because that felt like my previous pregnancy totally and completely. Hope someone can help me out with this soon. And thank you ahead of time.
Avatar f tn I've recently waxed my eyebrows last week for the first time and after the swelling went down now I'm left with these bumps on my eyebrow line that won't go away. What to do, what will help it go away? Ice doesn't help.
Avatar n tn The rash is extremely painful, and creates linear hard crusty things under my skin, which then become infected. I do have a little one above my left eyebrow, and you can see a hard white line under my skin. I try to rub them out sometimes, because the pain is horrible, and it's such a relieve when it comes out. I know that rubbing the area has probably made it worse, but it drives me crazy! It almost looks like hard white slivers. I have tried everything, and anything on my face.
Avatar m tn m experiencing dry skin all over body and I also see flaky yellowish wax around my eyebrow and mustaches. Apart from this also tingling and itchy sensation at different spot of body. Avatar f tn Dear doctor! How long can I use Differin (adaferin, adapalene)?
Avatar m tn I started using Differin in May, but I now realize Differin also contains Adapalene. Should I be worried about sun exposure while using Differin/adapaline? I noticed the container says not to use it on sunburns, but nothing about not using it in the sun. I use the cream at night, but I also realize that it's a long term treatment... and as such just because I use it at night, does not mean the sensitivity is gone in the morning/day.

Avatar f tn Ok so I have been prescribed differin gel for "acne" problems. I recently had a huge one with deep cyst (when i touch it i can feel hardness under the skin)...then it formed a white head and oozed a lot of pus (and some blood) after which it stopped being painful. My question is can I still keep on applying differin gel on top of the acne even though it's "broken" skin? The differin seems to help calm the inflammation pretty quick and dry it out...
1530342 tn?1405016490 In it, the 20-year-old mom, who recently underwent $16,000 worth of plastic surgery to alter her breasts, chin and nose, wrote about how she decided to wax 3-year-old Sophia's "unibrow" because she felt bad for her. When Sophia protested mid-wax, Abraham finished the job by using tweezers on her sleeping child. "I feel like a good mom," she wrote. "Other moms tell me your ideas!

1632818 tn?1299941302 I washed my face and slathered it with the sunscreen that is usually soothing, but it stung this time. I decided to google differin, and on their website it clearly said that differin should not be used on skin with eczma. Then I googled eczma, where it said that it is important to moisturise skin with eczma... So this contradicted the dermatologist telling me to not use my moisturiser and prescribing me differin.
Avatar m tn He gave me differin and it worked ok.While i was using the differin i was working all summer long outside and usually wore a hat.Well two years later ever since my forehead is my natural skin color which is pale. The rest of my face is very red.I have very oily skin and my skin breaksout if i put lotion or toners on it usually. Is there any advise on how to get my skin to even out and get this redness to go away. Please help.

Avatar m tn I messed with it a little bit, and the next day it had swollen up and was warm, like an infection. Since then, I have been using Abreva and Differin on it. The Differin makes the largest difference – it reduces the size significantly. When it first showed up, it looked a lot like this picture: http://www.adamjbc.f2s.com/dlc/test/Photo-0171.jpg. It no longer has a white tip, and there are two small bumps (neither red nor painful) below it.
Avatar f tn The best topical lotion in my opinion is Differin. It can be as effective as topical Isotretinoin but is usually much better tolerated, with little or no redness and peeling. It is even more effective when used in conjunction with oral antibiotics. I have taken Accutane twice (20% of patients require a second course) with good results, please see my photos in my profile. I am happy to discuss any concerns you have about this drug. Eloise.
Avatar f tn Hi I've recently been using differin gel, but about a week ago I started breaking out bad and decided to take a week long break from the gel to heal my skin. I was wondering if taking a week long break was a good idea or not?
