Maybe some of you would like to see the BEFORE & AFTER Pics of me just before RAI in June 2008 and NOW April 2009.
I am posting not to brag or gloat but to show many that there IS light at the end of the tunnel and that anyone suffering from Graves Disease and Hyperthyroidism can get back on the right road.

Yes I have more weight on me but I sure as he// look and feel 100% better.
Im not a doctor, however i have taken Differin and i would advise taking it constantly until the prescription runs out. Once it runs out, assess your skin- do you really need to keep taking it?? If this answer is a yes, refill the prescription and keep taking the Differin(In relation to taking it "permanently", i recommend doing this self- assessment everytime you fill the prescription, no matter how long you have been using it).
then it formed a white head and oozed a lot of pus (and some blood) after which it stopped being painful. My question is can I still keep on applying differin gel on top of the acne even though it's "broken" skin? The differin seems to help calm the inflammation pretty quick and dry it out...just this very big one didn't dry out and oozed instead...
he put me on oracea 40mg once a day and differin gel 0.3%....i was reading the paper that comes with oracea~doxycycline and it says it doesnt kill bacteria now im getting worried because minocycline does kill bacteria now im worried i will break out more from the oracea.it says its for rosacea but doest oracea work to kill acne to or no?and the differin gel 0.3% isnt this not as strong drying to dry up pimples as retin a micro 0.1%?
He gave me differin and it worked ok.While i was using the differin i was working all summer long outside and usually wore a hat.Well two years later ever since my forehead is my natural skin color which is pale.The rest of my face is very red.I have very oily skin and my skin breaksout if i put lotion or toners on it usually.Is there any advise on how to get my skin to even out and get this redness to go away.Please help.
well it did not happen, the next day it became a blister and all of them look twice as big and it was crusting...by the next day it was crusting and oozing out honey colored liquid and forming a very dark scab and really swollen.and my lower lip closest to the acne is very itchy and had small little blister infact my whole lower lip was very itchy so i decided to go to ER... to my horror the Dr. on duty told me that i have facial impetigo..... Do not use any alpha hydroxy acid products (those containing glycolic or lactic acid), salicylic acid products, retinoids (Retin A, Renova, Differin and Tazorac) and other topical acne medications such as benzoyl peroxide for 72 hours after the treatment. Also any scarubbing or acne soaps should be avoided for atleast 1 week after the miscrodermabrasion procedure.
i also wash face with mild cleanser and apply moisturizer, after apply moisturizer on my nose still becomes more oily. I went to see the dermatologist and he given me the differin cream, differin also make my nose oily and did not stop the oil production,which is also not helping, i very hopeless right now. please help with my oily nose.
My face is constantly greasy and I get white heads all over my fourhead and chin constantly. I also have a wierd rash like bumps all over my fourhead that will not go away. My physician put me on three differenty types of antibiotics, retin A and nothing has even come close to clearing it up. What would make somone all of the sudden develop such bad skin if they never had bad skin before.
My daughter developed drug-induced autoimmune hepatitis after taking Solodyn for her acne. After a liver biopsy and a nine month course of prednisone she is much better and, hopefully, the autoimmune hepatitis has reversed.
What did finally work for her is IPL (intense pulsed light) laser treatments. She had the treatments in May and her face is still, for the most part, clear of acne. And, it is drug free!
I'm having the exact same problem. Is there a solution to this? I need to update my phone but I'm scared I'll loose all my photos from my pregnancy!! My photos are checked "Add to public gallery on MedHelp" and they are still not showing up!
They took a field of vision check, photos of my optic nerve, put the lens on my eye to see retinas, and then a photograph of both my eyes of the optic nerve. They gave me glasses as I needed them. Nearly immediately after I started getting what I believe is called "visual static". I see static when I stare at a bright sky and see dancing particles all around, or a clear white or yellow wall. When I'm using the computer I usually don't notice it that much. 1.
I did some at 20wks (wasn't showing) and again at 30wks when I finally had a noticeable bump. I should have waited till I was even bigger but I also haven't felt as "cute" since then.
I got Differin from the doctor and used it for 6 months with no results. Is he to young to start to serious ritual? He is adopted and his birth mom has very serious acne. He is very worried about all these pimples. He started getting them at nine. The doctor told me they aren't really acne but I forgot what he called them so I could look them up.
