Is it normal to have such a reaction and if so, how can I help this heal, and how long will it probably take? By the way, I stopped applying the Differin when I got the reaction. Thanks.

t have much deep wrinkles, although the other eye looks really wrinkly and the wrinkles look deep, I am only 21 and my skin was like baby's skin, didn't have any wrinkles before the bp use.

Im not a doctor, however i have taken Differin and i would advise taking it constantly until the prescription runs out. Once it runs out, assess your skin- do you really need to keep taking it?? If this answer is a yes, refill the prescription and keep taking the Differin(In relation to taking it "permanently", i recommend doing this self- assessment everytime you fill the prescription, no matter how long you have been using it).

he put me on oracea 40mg once a day and differin gel 0.3%....i was reading the paper that comes with oracea~doxycycline and it says it doesnt kill bacteria now im getting worried because minocycline does kill bacteria now im worried i will break out more from the oracea.it says its for rosacea but doest oracea work to kill acne to or no?and the differin gel 0.3% isnt this not as strong drying to dry up pimples as retin a micro 0.1%?

I am 47, light complexion and problem area are dry skin wrinkles on forehead, laugh lines and crows feet and under eye lines. I have tried Olay regenerist, ROC and Garnier Nutritionist and currently seen ad for Hydroxatone that contains matrixly 3000, argireline and hyaluronic acid and is there anything you can recommend I use that can help minimize the wrinkles while adding collagen and elasticity to my skin. I am tired of products that offer a lot but delivers nothing.

Ok so I have been prescribed differin gel for "acne" problems. I recently had a huge one with deep cyst (when i touch it i can feel hardness under the skin)...then it formed a white head and oozed a lot of pus (and some blood) after which it stopped being painful. My question is can I still keep on applying differin gel on top of the acne even though it's "broken" skin? The differin seems to help calm the inflammation pretty quick and dry it out...

I also have similar features as my mother, and she has very few wrinkles, but prominent wrinkles between her eyebrows. I try to wear sunglasses and not squint, but is there any specific product I could apply to help prevent wrinkles developing there? Thank you!

I found this strange since I only had one pimple on my chin, and that's about as bad as it ever gets (and I wasn't bothered by having a pimple). I clarified that my problem was that my skin was sensitive, sore and feels like its burning after washing, and asked if differin would dry out my skin.

i recently accidently produced wrinkles under my eyes from trying to rub soap out of my eyes in the shower, the soap , and i tried getting it out in the shower by rubbing my eyes because they were stinging and since soap on skin creates a lot of friction i discovered i got wrinkles the next day and the skin under my eyes its a bit more corse than usual. i must of stretched the fibres of my skin im only 20.

I wanted to ask about etinol again, because I am very interested to know whether anyone has used a good strength OTC retinol product like Vichy, Boots or Green Cream (or prescription treitonin, Retin-A). Have you seen good results, specifically whether it may have helped with smoking wrinkles and sun damage. I know that you cannot get rid of wrinkles from smoking. However, does retinol help to fade somewhat or make them less noticeable?

I'm ebarrassed to say this, but I'm 13 and I have wrinkles on the head of my penis. okay, so i have a line on each side of my face around if you drew a line across my face in the middle. i know they are not wrinkles, as i am not old enough to have wrinkles (still in twenties) and they are not bags because they are too low on my face to be bags (at least i think so) and i know for sure that they are not scars or anything like that.

Since I turned 25, I started getting pimples here and there. The acne worsened throughout the year into cystic acne on the cheeks when I moved overseas. I lived overseas for a year, then moved back to the states, where all my acne disappeared for two months. It returned again slowly, starting out with a small rash (which went away with Desonide Cream .05%), then milia/whiteheads all over my cheeks, and then red pimples with white pus spreading from my cheeks to my chin now.

I have developed wrinkles on my finger knuckles over the last eight months(both the hands). The skin on the knuckles and the finger joints has been turning dark since then. I have visited a dermatologist and he said that it's not a symptom of any disease and hasn't prescribed any medication. I started using the L'oreal creams and all but nothing changed. Girlie, ya gotta laugh at it otherwise I'll cry and be doomed 4 more wrinkles 2 the forehead, lol. I've done lots of educating over the years and one of "my things" I've had a habit of doing it raising my eyebrows when students where speaking to me. I always wanted them to know they had my attention and that I was listening, but OMG if I would have realized the damage it could cause...I would have at least taped the forehead down before I went to work, lol. I messed with it a little bit, and the next day it had swollen up and was warm, like an infection. Since then, I have been using Abreva and Differin on it. The Differin makes the largest difference – it reduces the size significantly. When it first showed up, it looked a lot like this picture: http://www.adamjbc.f2s.com/dlc/test/Photo-0171.jpg. It no longer has a white tip, and there are two small bumps (neither red nor painful) below it.
