976084 tn?1270872439 I don't want to copy and paste what I wrote in my journal but if someone thinks they might want to help me can you please read it. Thank you for anyone who actually does...
Avatar f tn You really need to keep your doctor advised of your changing symptoms. Using a journal to detail your mood(s), diet, sleep patterns, etc. can be very useful when you meet(with your doctor).
Avatar n tn Ever since I starting taking birth control, my body was never the same. I'm having problems making enough urine everyday and I have daily diarrhea. I seem to retain alot of the water I drink, and I'm straining when I urinate and have bowel movements (even when the stool is soft). It seems like I get more watery stools when I drink a moderate amount of any sort of fluids. Exercise of any kind makes these symptoms worse.
Avatar n tn There are several websites on which you can keep a food journal or even just start a journal here on MedHelp; I also understand that MedHelp is coming out with a food journal in the near future... Make sure you get plenty of exercise - it will not only help burn calories, but it will help give you more energy. Good luck and keep posting.
5770257 tn?1374371422 Is anyone else writing a pregnancy journal or story? Ive just started a rough draft of one, but wanting some ideas of what to include. Ive started with the story of meeting my partner and planning to start a family and small life details up to this point (7wk4d) and just after some ideas from here or things to add. Im planning on putting photos from the first u/s and a pic of my pregnancy test and keeping it up to date with symptoms and preparations and then as a baby book after birth.
Avatar m tn Does anyone know how long you're supposed to wait before bringing back "trigger" foods into your diet. My doctor said I can do it by the end of this month, but I am a bit nervous because I don't know how to go about doing this. I know I'm not supposed to bring them all back at once but do I just eat a trigger food then wait a few days? I don't get it. I am concerned that if I even eat one trigger food, my esophagus will swell up again.

189192 tn?1261341628 All, I want to share this with you because, so far it has been such a positive experience for me, and I really believe it will have a powerful effect on my family and our relationship. For those who don't know my back ground, I had been ttc for 2 years and after a ruptured fallopian tube and 3 IUIs, I finally got pg with the son I had been dreaming about. At 29wks I was put on strict bed rest. A family member sent me a care package with a journal.
672514 tn?1265655141 Hello to all, I just wanted to update on myself and how I have been doing, Most of you know me and know I have a "OPEN JOURNAL" in this forum. I am writing about my last journal Entry I just posted, I do not want to take up space and reprint it here, but if anyone wants to look at it, just click my name and go to my open journal entries. 535152 tn?1215015169 I'm writing for my husband. About a year and a half ago he was diagnosed w/ depression and has been on effexor and then zoloft and for little bits of time ativan and seroquel. When he is 'depressed' he is in bed quite a bit and cannot seem to do anything- no work not even being with his family. But when he's feeling good he's a whole nother person if that makes sense. He doesn't have huge mood swings but i still wonder if he is bi-polar?
Avatar m tn its been 6yrs now, another doctor told me my acid level was as high as my throat which explains everything, but he told me since i have no bacteria that there is no cure!!!!!!!!!
644974 tn?1312758070 Are you trying to write a journal through the Journal interface or through the Tracker interface? On My MedHelp, on the Journals panel, you should see a link that says, Write a new journal entry. If you click that, you should see a form that has text boxes for Title, Journal Entry and Tags. Do you see that?
Avatar m tn anyone else doing a pregnancy journal for their child to read once they're older?:) I've been pretty loyal to mine.:) I hope my son will enjoy and appreciate it once he is older.
1253197 tn?1331209110 Thanks for writing this journal. I will be following your progress.
1999115 tn?1332265324 Instead of trying to keep busy to not think about it, try writing him letters or writing a journal, express how you feel by writing it out. When you write him letters tell him how your day went and be honest. Its goin to be hard but youll be ok, you will only get stronger from the experiences.
Avatar f tn Okay so I have basically tried every diet out there and nothing seems to work. I have gained at least 20 pounds in the last year and I really need that to just go away. I am starting this new "skinny *****" diet at least for two weekw to see if it has any effect on my body at all.. does anyone have any suggestions to lose weight like certian foods or workouts that should be doen? Please let me know asap!
Avatar n tn Hi, I've been diagnosed with hypothyroidism and i have opted for 'natural' treatment through herbs and re-adjusting my diet i have two questions though. Firstly, what can i take for the lack of focus and concentration that i experience? I feel like the left side of my brain doesn't function as well as the right.
Avatar n tn Adam Drewnowski and Allen S. Levine write in the "Journal of Nutrition" that added sugar and fat make up more than 50 percent of the typical American diet and contributes to the obesity epidemic. Craving sweets after a meal can hamper weight loss efforts. You try to deny the craving, only making it more pronounced. If you indulge the craving, stopping with a small serving may be impossible for you.
Avatar f tn I would go to a bland diet and add things in slowly to see what effect different items have. You can journal it. Then you will be left with a safe diet of foods. Fiber in particular can be tricky for flatulence. Be careful with all fiber foods and introduce slowly such as nuts, legumes, breads, cereals, vegetables with higher fiber, etc. Stick to smaller portions too of all meals even if you have to eat more frequently. And as purple stated, lower fat foods are better.
Avatar n tn Does anything proceed the days in which you feel crummy? I would keep a journal daily writing down things like what you eat, how you slept, etc. You can use trackers if that is easier for you. For me, I just jot it down in a specified notebook. And sometimes you can see a pattern even if really subtle. Hormonal blips, eating, boss being hard on you, etc. You may want to also check your dose of sertraline. That is a good medication but it is often under dosed.
Avatar f tn I found that writing and keeping a daily journal helped me. Granted I didn't have kids yet. So focus on your son abd do something relaxing for you when u can. Remain positive! Good luck!
Avatar m tn d recommend seeing a therapist, and also research DBT.
