On the pain scale prior to taking diclofenac (dicloflex) it was an 8 and with tramadol it was about a 6. it now is about a 6 and with the tramadol and diclofenac its a 3. The doctor has told me to stop taking the diclofenac as i am having night sweats since taking them and is giving me an anti inflammatory which can be bought over the counter and i have to reduce the tramadol to 1 50mg pill 3 times a day as he does not want me on them for a long period of time.

I was once given tramadol and cocodamol together in hospital, and take them together regularly now. However, the tramadol must NOT be the type which is combined with paracetamol, as then you would be overdosingon paracetamol. What you don't say is what strengths you are talking about. I take cocodamol 30mg two tablets, which is extremely strong. There are cocodamol mixtures with less codeine phosphate in them. Personally I take the strong version and add in one 50mg Tramadol.
Taking methadone and Vicodin together or taking methadone and heroin together is not "fine". Not sure where you got that information or why you're asking?
I've been taking 150mg of diclofenac (split over 3 times a day), 600mg Tramadol ( again split up 3 times a day), 450mg Pregabalin (split up twice a day) & 60mg of dihydrocodine at night for about 5 months. I stopped taking the Tramadol 1 week ago and am having problems sleeping. I want to stop taking everything else., What symptoms am i likely to have if i just stop taking all these tablets in the morning.
They MUST follow the new MS IMAGING PROTOCOL for diagnosis. This includes MRIs and MRAs of the brain, neck and spinal cord with and without contrast. All tests are done at the same time at the imaging center. They should also check your blood ESR, CRP, ACE and ANA. AND NEXT TIME YOU HAVE ANY EYE SYMPTOMS GO DIRECTLY TO AN OPTHAMOLOGIST ( not an optician, they can only check you for glasses,etc). THEY NEED TO LOOK AT YOUR RETINA AND CHECK YOU FOR OPTIC NEURITIS, a presenting symptom for MS.

Hi, I posted this question in the Cirrhosis forum, but I thought maybe I'd post it here too, since many members of the Hep C forum also have Cirrhosis. I have a question about an anti-inflammatory medication called Diclofenac for a person with Cirrhosis.
Yes, I do use this medication, however my RA doc has me make it up into a cream and use it topically instead of swallowing them and risking stomach and intestinal damage. Diclofenac is a rather old, but good good antinflamatory NSAID medication that really can ruin your stomach which is why they don't prescribe it much anymore.
I know it may sound strange but it works really well.
Question. I have started taking Diclofenac 75mg x's 2 a day to try and see if a non narcotic medication may give me some relief long term with my rib pain. I have taken it for 2 weeks and at first I didn't think it was helping at all. Now I think 1 of 2 things either A) it's starting to build up in my system and is helping better or B) My ribs just happen to feel a bit better lately.
i have taken diclofenac for over 20 years with no side effects i have had to come off the tablets 75mg x twice day 4 days ago as I am showing some drying of kidneys from another mediation to ensure it is that one i have come off anything whih might affect me.
Work accident/ Yeh had an MRI, showed torn Disc L5/S1 & problem with surrounding facets. No nerve impingment, just irritated. Im in CONSTANT pain in mid & lower back, into buttock and ito and down mainly right leg, sometimes, left too. I sometimes get cold and pin & needles in feet. They started me on co-codamol & diclofanac, then to tramadol and diclofenac, then added norotriplyene.
Last week I did not take tramadol at all and began to feel achy all over and tired. I took the pill. Yesterday, I took no tramadol again and had all the symptoms I see described here--restless all over, unable to sleep, achy, etc. I took a tramadol this morning and the symptoms went away.
My question: what is best here? Stop both of them? Stop the Tramadol and continue the percocet for a week(1 pill a night) and then stop the percocet? Stop both together?
I read in one of the threads that you can't mix tramadol and antidepressants. Is this true? What are the risks?
My Dr. has me on both - I am trying to very slowly cut back on the Tram. I pill every week. I know it is painfully slow - but it is all I am able to do right now. I am working on alternative pain management methods, and getting the courage up to dump the pills once and for all.
The headache became more intense and I started taking cylebrex and tramadol but the headache still persists. Finally, last Monday it became unbearable I went to the ER and the doctor still didn't know what my problem is but he prescribed me with diclofenac and prochlorperazine. The doctor also mentioned that my tonsil is swollen, which is weird coz I didn't feel any pain or sorethroat.
I think I need the strong stuff like diclofenac and B12 and b6. There is a pills called OKA B that I use to take when having muscle pain and it took pains away. But I've heard that diclofenac is not good to take during tx. Has anyone taken diclofenac during tx or is it too bad for the liver.
It seems to me we should wait for the blood test results to see if I really am B12 deficient before having the EMG test. I researched the side effects of Diclofenac, Tramadol and Lovastatin and they all list Paresthesia as a side effect. I've also found that statin drugs increase the likely-hood of getting Peripheral Neuropathy by 16 times. Two days ago I stopped taking Lovastatin to see if my symptoms subside. I am waiting for a call from a nurse from the Neurologist.
