My symptoms did not improve and I began on Vesicare, which did not help, and now I am on Detrol LA. This does not seem to be helping either. I am continuing to urinate 20-30 times a day. Sitting also makes it worse. Please help. I cannot continue to live like this.

My neurologist recently put me on a Detrol LA for a week, then had me add Flomax. I noticed a slight improvement with the Detrol, but when I added the Flomax things urinary got dramatically better. But, shortly after starting the Flomax, I discovered that I did not produce any ejaculate! Not that sex is a big thing with me (staying upright while standing takes precidence), but it is still an important part of life (if only rarely).
I remember some stupid urologist giving me a painful test and telling me I had something else. I refused to take the meds as of side effects. Went to see another urologist who gave me Detrol LA and it worked! Now I go about one-half as many times as before. You need to find a doctor who can see if you have this very, very common condition. On January 18, 2011, my doctor put me on Inderal LA 60 mg because a stupid doctor upped my thyroid medicine too much and my heart rate and BP went off the chart. I have not taken any thyroid hormone since January 18th. While the Inderal has helped lower the BP and heart rate, I am having significant side effects from it and just wondered if others had experienced the same thing. I am quite fatigued but the most disturbing thing is I'm having very vivid and scary dreams.
Just like after a trip from the dentist, the feeling you have when the numbness begins to fade and the pain takes affect. I just started taking Detrol LA again last Friday and could not find any related side effect except for joint pain. I have been searching online everywhere for answers.
I will not be able to see a doctor for another four days (if I can be seen on Black Friday).
Does anyone have any ideas on what could be causing all of this trouble?
Should I be worried?

I'm not sure, but have you (or has he) checked with his cardiologist? If so, what does he/she say? Hope the move goes well and you enjoy your new home!
m wondering if my doctor could prescribe something to help with my overactive bladder so I could keep taking the Lexapro or if I should just take something else instead. Lexapro is good in ways because it produces fewer side effects than any other SSRI med that I've tried and I've tried many of them. What do you think?
More fuel for the fire, but 2 32oz bottles a day or you will get dehydrated on the medicine I am about to recommend. For me, Detrol LA, Vesicare, Enablex didn't do anything for me.They helped, but not fully or it gave up entirely on me. The miracle pill that worked for me is Sanctura XR. It is expensive. $100 via mail order for a 3 month bottle. It really works. 92% of the OAB is gone if not more. Problem is the side effects are common. For me, I have every side effect.
I have been told by my doctor that I have a chronic case of IC....(about three years ago) I was ok for awhile and, now the severe pain has returned....which meant I had to return to my urologist....He gave me elmiron and vesicare to treat the IC....the Elmiron never helped my pain and, the Vesicare took my blood pressure from 113/72 pulse 68 to 153/103 pulse 122...I contacted my urologist and, he stated...that's not true ... neither of these meds would cause your blood pressure to go up...
No I have other symptoms, tingly fingers and hands on left side, lightheaded, dizzy, extreme fatigue for no reason, pain in my neck and shoulder area, pain in my arms near my elbows, feeling of tightness under my right rib that comes and goes. Some days I feel fine and other days I am not myself. Also have been getting headaches above my left eye.
Had an MRI and stated that I have lesions in the juxtacortical position and may be due to demyelination or ischemia.
I think I read that it is common....I would check into the side effects of detrol too...I can't remember what it was but I know I made them take my husband off that stuff....I think as she heels over time it would get better. I had cystocel rectocel and vaginal repair 4 weeks ago today....I am so much better than before I cannot tell you....I had prolapse.
It is not unusual for individuals to have side effects when they begin using a retinol product. Most manufacturers recommend beginning with 2 applications a week for the first week or so depending on how your skin reacts. After that you can increase to every other night and then to every night as your skin adjusts. I have used several products with retinol and this has always been the case for me. I do not have sensitive skin.

I was put on Cipro XL for 6 days and the infection cleared but not the fequency and urgency to urinate. My doctor gave me Detrol LA a week ago and the symptoms have subsided greatly.

So i've been on tenofivor(viread) for about 8months now. I've experienced most of the side effects listed. Recently i've been experiencing a pain from my upper left chest throughout my arm. Mostly at night, then during the day I feel a tingly feeling throughout my body. The last time I had my tests done I was at 70 hbvdna. Of course its not the best test because the American health care system blows. But I've heard we are now getting fibrosis scans and hbsag quanitity scans.
Hi everybody ok heres my problem that maybe somebody knows what is wrong with me starting about a month ago i have been feeling pressure too pee and when i go little to nothing comes out and i have to go like every five min and that goes on for like a week or two and then it stops and im fine then after a week or two it comes back and it happens again the er sent a urine culture out and it came back fine and also the urology doctor did a urine test and it was fine he did a ultrasound of my bladd
Yes, both cystoscopes showed bladder lining clear and pink, no irritation, got the microlab back today and no cancer cells, so that was good, only thing abnormal was the WBC Esterase was abnormal and Urologist said back to stronger antibiotic, Doxcycycline, and Detrol La to relieve muscle spasm... does that sound like urologist is on the right track?
