t take long at all for methadone to show up in your urine...most meds taken in pill form are dissolved within 45 minutes, so I would think it would show up by then if not even sooner. It's too bad that so many people misuse/sell medications and then try to scam doctors...legit pain mgt patients are the ones who usually pay the price.
For example, heroin and cocaine can only be detected for a few hours after use, but their metabolites can be detected for several days in urine. In this type of situation, we will report the (longer) detection times of the metabolites.
NOTE 1: Oral fluid or saliva testing results for the most part mimic that of blood. The only exceptions are THC and benzodiazepines. Oral fluid will likely detect THC from ingestion up to a maximum period of 6–12 hours.
I'm perplexed. I've had 4 back surgeries, permanent nerve damage, torn miniscus in my knee, degenerative disk disease & arthritis in my back/knee/hip etc. I take four 325 per day of oxycodone aka percocet. I've been with my Dr. for 19 years! Today I was told NO medicine at all showed up in my urine. I've never failed a test in almost 20 years.
I would tell your doctor just to be safe and relief your anxiety about it.

Hello there. I am not sure, but I believe your dr. is checking for the presence of your medication in your urine. I don't think that the concentration of the meds can be detected in urine, but would be confirmed by a blood test. Good luck!
On the twentieth I had one bit of clearish discharge when I wiped in the bathroom with a streak of dark blood in it (implantation?). I had mild cramping the twentieth- current. As of the past 5 days I have been nauseous, have heartburn, broke severely in odd places (back, shoulders, neck), have mild cramping, mood swings, flushed face, etc. I went to Dr. and had a test today... neg. of course. They do not have early detection tests and said even if I was pregnant they wouldn't know.

So, can you tell us how long ago you left the urine without methadone metabolites in it? Also, what's your previous urine record like & your relationship w/ your counselor & clinic? (This might make all the difference in how this goes for you!) If you haven't gotten your results back yet you have time to come clean to them in a fully humble & honest manner it would probably weigh heavily in your favor. Yup!
The infection that was detected in my first analysis of urine has cleared up no detection of leukocytes in urine, so it surely was not a STD? What do you think? The doctor has given me antibiotics as I explained that I still have a little burning when urinating, he has given me ciproflaxin 500mg twice a day for 10 days, and if the symptoms don´t disappear to go back to the doctors. The doctor is 100% certain there is no STD infection.

I am fairly certain I started the exchange based on the timing of my mess-up, typical incubation periods for NGU, and the start of my symptoms. At the start of my symptoms I was tested postitive for NGU at a clinic and treated. The symptoms subsided After treatment, I had sex with my wife, and after the same incubation period, the symptoms returned.

Suboxone is listed as a Category C drug (adverse effects in lab animals.) Methadone is considered safe for pregnancy. Since you are already on it, your OBGYN might want to switch you to Subutex w/o the Nalaxone in it. DO people ON Methadone Maintenance of Suboxone HAVE any rights with regards to how we are treated and if we have put together all these years of compliance with not just urine screens but groups, counseling attendance (ALL SPOTLESS!) and behavioral issues, etc why can't we get ONE benefit of the doubt?
