Tinted IOLs are not like contacts and the tint is only minor and to help with filtering UV and infrared light spectra. Talk to the surgeon about doing surgery at the same time to make the pupil somewhat smaller.
i started use Desogestrel in december at start when my period came was all fine period was gone after 4 days. january 4th started some lil bleeding and spotting and didnt stopped ever since. like 3 weeks ago i went to my doctor she said lets change to Slynd . but i am still spotting sometimes more sometimes less. my question is if i take a 1 week brake and resume taking pills will stop the spotting ?
s clear UV filtering only IOL. I have no other vision or health issues. Will a yellow IOL, possibly more yellow than my 'good' eye, or a clear IOL, almost certainly less yellow than my 'good' eye (with perhaps lower-than-normal age-related yellowing of the human lens) blend better and work better for years to come?

hi, i am taking ethinylestradiol/desogestrel richter 0.02 mg/0.15 mg, and i was supposed to start my 7 day pill free yesterday, but i forgot to, instead i started with my next strip of pill yesterday.. what should i suppose to do? should i stop taking the pill for the next 6 days and i will have my period in days or should i continue taking the pill for another 20 days?

Has anyone one had experience with any of these? Recommendations? I tried to look up reviews but haven't been convinced one is better than the other.
Now since 2 weeks I also have mucus in my stool and I get very worried. I also take thyroid medication for Hashimoto and Desogestrel all the time for the Endometriosis. It would be great if anyone could help me. I went by the doctor already though they tell me to just eat healthy, which I do since 7 years now.

Does keeping your eyelids shut during sunbathing or uv exposure blocks out all the uv rays.? Here's what I found the internet. Is this true??

I did my best to find more information (my surgeon is out of the office for the rest of the week.) What I read suggests that lens shift would cause less problem with the AO than with the HD.
I have very fair skin so I know it's important to limit my UV exposure. The problem is that my skin is very sensitive, and I've had an adverse reaction to every sunscreen/sunblock I've tried (including pure zinc-based ones). So I limit my sun exposure, and wear a big wide brim sun hat and long sleeves and pants when I'm out in the sun.
I have a portable UV checker which detects the intensity of UVA/UVB rays.
So that helps me know whether I'm getting much or any UV light.

Would Mircette be an option with desogestrel being less angrogenic? Also, any experience with prescribed HALF tab of OC? (ie. instead of Loestrin 1/20.. use 0.5/10 for hormonal imbalance?) Just concerned about initial breakout.
Just some background... I have not used OC previously. I have no family history of breast cancer, no hypertension, non-smoker, and had 2 migraines in the past 5 years.
So with my insurance i have 6 to choose from, medela with motor bag 2 bottles, ameda with pump 2 bottles and dvd, tomy with bag pump bottles, 2 different spectras with everything, and freemie. Only one ive heard of is medela and that its awesome but the spectra sounds good? Have to order today, whats your opinion?
To make vitamin D you need UV-B rays to come into direct contact with your skin. Of note: UV-B rays cannot penetrate glass. Pollution and clouds decrease the number of UV-B rays.

So why weren't you given the interferon and ribavirin? Have you tried it, but it didn't work? The only ppl I know who have tried UV treatments were non-responders.
