my girlfriend and I have had a scare and we want to take the morning after pill (LEV 0.75) and also want to start birth control pills. Her period was a few days ago and we are wondering if she can take the morning after today and then start the regular birth control tomorrow or the next day?
we bought madonna Levonorgestrel .75
and a combo pill desogestrel .15 with ethinylestradiol .03
also the madonna pills are two....
i started use Desogestrel in december at start when my period came was all fine period was gone after 4 days. january 4th started some lil bleeding and spotting and didnt stopped ever since. like 3 weeks ago i went to my doctor she said lets change to Slynd . but i am still spotting sometimes more sometimes less. my question is if i take a 1 week brake and resume taking pills will stop the spotting ?
hi, i am taking ethinylestradiol/desogestrel richter 0.02 mg/0.15 mg, and i was supposed to start my 7 day pill free yesterday, but i forgot to, instead i started with my next strip of pill yesterday.. what should i suppose to do? should i stop taking the pill for the next 6 days and i will have my period in days or should i continue taking the pill for another 20 days?
Now since 2 weeks I also have mucus in my stool and I get very worried. I also take thyroid medication for Hashimoto and Desogestrel all the time for the Endometriosis. It would be great if anyone could help me. I went by the doctor already though they tell me to just eat healthy, which I do since 7 years now.
How long ago was this? Go to ste store and get a test, or find a friend to get you one if you are embarressed. But just remember they only work about five days before your period...And its okay to be scared, I've been scared several times...but hopefully you are not pregnant, you are too young. But keep in mind if you are...Everything happenens for a reason!
II am trying to pin-point which of my female hormones is out of whack and causing, or at least contributing, to such terrible weekly Migraine headaches. Anyone know a good BC pill for individuals with severe, chronic Migraine headaches during ovulation AND menstruation?
I am 29 yrs old, average weight, in fair health, have never been pregnant, and started my period at age 11.
However, the pill really exacerabated my migraines and made me quite depressed so I stopped taking it. Immediately after, the frequency of my migraines lessened but since, the frequency has increased greatly. I am now worried that this may be a sign that the endo. has returned. What makes this difficult to determine, is the fact that even after I was diagnosed I had very few, if any, symptoms.
uh...well, I had an ex come over thinking he was my friend, but he took advantage of me and raped me. My girlfriend( yes, I'm bi) came right over and the next day we got a morning after pill called Plan B. I took it right away. I was just wondering if there is any chance at all of me being pregnant. See the guy didn't ***, but there was definitely pre *** there. I've been really stressed over it... I'm not sure if that's why I haven't gotten my period yet...

I am 27 years old and not currently on the pill. I had an appointment schedule to renew my prescription but had intercourse prior and the condom slipped off. Even though we were also using spermicide, on the following day, Oct 4th, I took the morning after pill to be safe. My previous period ended on Sept 28th. A week after taking the morning after pill, Oct 10-12, I had three days of heavy bleeding/clotting along with thick mucous.
For the past two weeks, I have consistent morning and after eating nausea. The nausea is worse in the morning when I first wake up especially while I am brushing my teeth. It has gotten so bad I gag and regurgitate stomach acid during this process. On some days, I may have a bowel movement but nothing major (sorry if that is too much information). The only thing that makes me feel a little better is ginger ale and saltine crackers.
Medications
I take Zyrtec D almost every day and a Benedryl about every other night. These take the burning and itching sensations away but do absolutely nothing for the pain.
Sometimes when the hives refuse to go away I take a steroid for five days. This does nothing for the pain but helps the appearance. Topical steroids seem to have no effect.
Other Medications
I have been taking a low dose of the generic version of Ativan for anxiety as of about 8 months ago.
Me being stupid, realised it didn’t once we had had sex the next day, so I went and got another one the day after that (around 35 hours after sex). Having 2 morning after pills within 3 days is surely not good and I realise that it should only be used in emergency. What makes it scary is that we had sex on my ovulation day, which I didn’t realise until afterwards.
My period is now on the 5th day of being late... is this expected, especially because I had two?
You can still get pregnant even taking the morning after pill, there are many, many women that have. And you can get pregnant from preejaculation, even if he didn't insert it in far, and although it's very, very unlikely you can get pregnant from him ejaculating on the oustide of your vagina, is it likely? Not really.

Me and my boyfriend were having sex, (he had previously ejaculated about an half an hour before). We were having sex again, but near the end he started to go soft and had pulled out but then found the condom had come off and he says it was outside my vagina but was only slightly inside. We're not certain if anything had gone in, my boyfriend had a little bit of pre ejaculation on his penis. I should also mention that I am due to finish my period today.
My advice is to see a doctor and get the pill for birth control and try to wait until your period to start and your starting the pill and taking it for the appropriate time until you are safe before resuming sex. That is hard to do but it worries me that you have condoms breaking and such. An unplanned pregnancy can really wreak havoc in our life so avoid it if you can! You need reliable birth control hon.
