I have heard so many bad things about Yasmin. I have also heard of the pill causing those symptoms as well so I am wondering if its just the pill itself. I take Marvelon21 and have since my surgery 4yrs ago. I am wondering if its the ingredients in the yasmin that could be doing it besides the progestin and estrogen? Where you taking it continuously with the yasmin 21 or the 28 day?

i started use Desogestrel in december at start when my period came was all fine period was gone after 4 days. january 4th started some lil bleeding and spotting and didnt stopped ever since. like 3 weeks ago i went to my doctor she said lets change to Slynd . but i am still spotting sometimes more sometimes less. my question is if i take a 1 week brake and resume taking pills will stop the spotting ?
hi, i am taking ethinylestradiol/desogestrel richter 0.02 mg/0.15 mg, and i was supposed to start my 7 day pill free yesterday, but i forgot to, instead i started with my next strip of pill yesterday.. what should i suppose to do? should i stop taking the pill for the next 6 days and i will have my period in days or should i continue taking the pill for another 20 days?

The chances of pregnancy from this event remain extremely low, for all of the reasons I mentioned in my first post. There is not a lot I can add to that, nor can anyone give you hard numbers.

I have a problem since a over a year now that I would have blood in my stool sometimes and very bad stomach pain. I do have endometriosis and had a laparoscopy 2 years ago. Since then it got worse and worse. Whenever I eat anything slightly greasy, spicy or too sweet I'd get pain and whenever I eat there is a small bulge under my right ribs that would hurt as well. The blood is usually dark, though sometimes it's very bright as well.
Her period was a few days ago and we are wondering if she can take the morning after today and then start the regular birth control tomorrow or the next day?
we bought madonna Levonorgestrel .75
and a combo pill desogestrel .15 with ethinylestradiol .03
also the madonna pills are two....should she take one and then another twelve hours later, or two at once....

I have been on treatment for PCOS for a year and a half now with Drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol birth control pills. My OB/GYN asked for a blood test in order to see how my hormones are doing. While I am content that my testosterone levels are within normal range (it was very high at the moment of diagnosis and I was suffering from many uncomfortable effects) my prolactin levels are 38.25. I understand that this is high but, is it very high? should I be concerned?

Would Mircette be an option with desogestrel being less angrogenic? Also, any experience with prescribed HALF tab of OC? (ie. instead of Loestrin 1/20.. use 0.5/10 for hormonal imbalance?) Just concerned about initial breakout.
Just some background... I have not used OC previously. I have no family history of breast cancer, no hypertension, non-smoker, and had 2 migraines in the past 5 years.

Drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol) and my OB/GYN wants to see how my hormones are doing. The hormones he wants to check are prolactin, cortisol and testosterone and my GP has also ordered estradiol as she suspects that checking cortison will not be possible (it has to be done in a hospital and this is unavailable atm due to COVID-19). I will have a blood test next Tuesday, coincidentally during my placebo week (and probably my first day of period).
There are many new pills available in the market with lesser side effects of weight gain, mood changes etc.Birth control pill containing Drospirenone and ethinylestradiol may be helpful since they have lesser side effects. Drink plenty of water everyday and avoid oily fried foods to prevent acne. For more queries and assistance do consult your gynecologist before starting any new pill. Keep me posted.

if there is any thing i can do let me know please. i cant afford invitro or any of those things, so thats out of the question. is it possible that i am no longer ovulating? i do get my periods every month, is it possible to get your period and not be ovulating?

I am 29 yrs old, average weight, in fair health, have never been pregnant, and started my period at age 11.
