Avatar f tn it all depends on how u deal with stress. When you are stressed out, your body pumps out different hormones-obviously the stress hormones that increase heart rate n things like that. Some stress is normal. N if u can cope with them, your body's stress hormones level out but if you're constantly stressed, u can be affecting the baby. I remember learning in school that too much stress during pregnancy can be associated with low birth weight and/or premature birth.
Avatar n tn Imaging of the brain and the sella turcica is also advised. You may need to reduce stress levels, decrease intensity of exercise, and increasing weight and BMI.You may need treatment with exogenous cyclic estrogen therapy/progestin therapy. It is best to consult an experienced gynecologist and get treated. I hope it helps. Best wishes and regards!

Avatar f tn I have been on bioidentical hormone therapy for several years: estrogel 0.06% 2 pumps once daily and prometrium 200 mg. daily. My main symptoms for seeking treatment were severe hot flashes, night sweats and insomnia. These symptoms have subsided since being on hormone replacement therapy. I do not have access to individual dosage evaluation and preparation of these hormones. I know that it is best to take the lowest dosage that gives me relief of my symptoms to decrease my risks of cancer.
Avatar m tn I'm not on any hormones or meds. I thought about chasteberry, but I've heard that in some cases it increases libido, so I didn't give it a shot.
Avatar f tn Stress causes our bodies to go into fight or flight mode and forces us to use our bodily resources make the stress hormone cortisol , instead of those resources making all the other hormones we and baby need. So, stress is not a good thing. But I'm sure if its short term baby will be fine. Women in war torn countries still end up having healthy babies :) take a deep breathe and get some relax time.
Avatar n tn 120 lbs), and have been experiencing frequent episodes of tachycardia which is often accompanied by feeling light-headed/dizzy, numb extremities, and sometimes high BP (especially diastolic). Avatar f tn I had a thallium stress test a week ago. Now I'm setting off radioactive alarms at the facility where I work which is a heavily secure building. How long will the thallium remain in my body?
Avatar m tn Those were the results of the stress echo. Its worrying me. Why does it say decrease in left ventricular cavity? Doesnt it get bigger during exercise to pump easier? And it also says excess augmentatiom in LV function? What does that mean? Im afraid i have cardiomyopathy or somethig. But my cardiologist says its not. My regular echo was normal except some trivial regugitation in one of the valves.
