Avatar f tn Just wanted to know if someone could give me an answer to what might be my issue. Will try to sum up everything.... As a child, I was in a car accident (car lost control, pinned me against a building). Was left with a significant leg length discrepancy (10cm). 2011, had shortening procedure. Now I have neurological issues...lots. For years, I've had back pain. Over the years, it's gotten worse. I started having burning sensations.

Avatar n tn My new doctor prescribed me Cyclobenzaprine for my muscles spams but I take celexa on my regular basis. I remember he told me to be careful in no combining those two. Tonight, I took my celexa around 1am. At 3:55am, I forgot I took the celexa and I took Cyclobenzaprine. Do you think is something I should be worry? I looked online about the drug interaction and they say could be deadly. I am very worry. Any advice of what I can do? Do I gonna be okay?
Avatar n tn Based on the findings, Cyclobenzaprine HCl should be used with caution in subjects with mild hepatic impairment starting with the 5 mg dose and titrating slowly upward. Due to the lack of data in subjects with more severe hepatic insufficiency, the use of Cyclobenzaprine HCl in subjects with moderate to severe impairment is not recommended. http://www.drugs.com/pro/cyclobenzaprine.
Avatar n tn It may be aggravated due to prolonged sitting in a position for a long time. You have gone for MRI of the neck. Please go for an MRI of the entire spine. There could be a nerve compression in the lumbar region caused by improper posture or prolonged sitting. Please go for physiotherapy and a neurologist consultation after going for the MRI of spine. Hope this helps you. Take care and regards!
Avatar f tn hi Punkie..........thats a good question and I have the same pain from the buttocks to the hip and radiating to the thigh and down my legs..worse on left side........I have 2 problems and this pain could be caused by either one doctor says one thing the other says different so gets very confusing. 1. it very well could be caused by the bursitis in our hips, although from what I understand that pain should only radiate as far as the thighs and not necessarily down the whole leg. 2.
Avatar f tn I have seen my doctor about a month ago and have sciatica. For sciatica I am only on Tylenol and Ibuprofen. I am getting pain still and very locked up. I also take Clonazepam and 10 mg Amitriptyline for cyclic vomiting syndrome (or abdominal migraine). I have been on the same dose for 30 years. I read that taking a higher dose than I am on of Amitriptyline can help back pain. Do you recommend that I ask my doctor for a higher dose to try? Do you think it would bring the pain down some?
Avatar n tn Can I took two tablets of ic oxycodone 5-325, can I take my ic cyclobenzaprine 5 mg with it?
2085202 tn?1373199740 Have been on lorazepam and cyclobenzaprine muscle relaxers then have been taking them rather frequently but still following the proper dosage instructions. Started getting respitory depression think I almost died....stopped breathing in sleep...lungs seemed depleted yet constricted...weak in the diaphragm. Went off it now and now feeling what seems almost like heart attack symptoms.
Avatar n tn I'm wondering how long folks waited to have surgery for sciatica. I'm at the 3-month mark and my symptoms are still excruciating. I'm a very active person and can't stand my new almost sedentary lifestyle. Any thoughts?
Avatar m tn Do you have a prescription for the Cyclobenzaprine? I would look for it and be ready to share it with your potential employer. Also, I would ask them what they found. Are you sure there isn't something you are leaving out? As long as you have a prescription for it you should be safe. It's illegal for them to discriminate against a legal medication that is prescribed by a doctor.
2207073 tn?1338931916 The injections for me, help a lot with the low back pain but only help the sciatica for a couple of days to a week and the sciatica slowly starts to build back up. I truly believe I am getting beneficial results from these injections because of the other medications that I am taking for pain: long-acting/short-acting opioid medications, cyclobenzaprine, valium, gabapentin, 4-5 OTC naproxen sodium tablets, and an anti-depressant.
461993 tn?1245693352 Yeah, sleep will take a little while; try OTC sleep aids...worked for me. the worst part for me was the RLS..
305180 tn?1279716747 Hey there ladies just wondering if anyone has found any kind of relief for Sciatica. My left sciatic nerve is pinched and I can barely walk in the morning when I get up. It takes a good 10 minutes to get to a point where I can walk at least somewhat comfortably. I have only gained about 15 pounds too, so I dont understand why its hurting so bad. Maybe its from lifting somethign heavy last weekend, but since then that left side has been hurting really bad. Any ideas on how to get some relief?
Avatar n tn I have been fighting Sciatica for 6 months. I am unable to stand or sit for any length of time. I had an MRI and had a Cyst removed via needle as out patient along with a steroid injection. I was told one in ten people the procedure would not be successful and happen to that one by a neurosurgeon. I was told they could TRY going in at a different angle and I could TRY steroid epidural. I have been searching for other options and have not found any with concrete results.
Avatar f tn ) And my sciatica was horrendous afterwards. Usually I can just sit on ny birth ball for a bit and it relieves the pressure. Today I was not so lucky. So, I remembered this tip from one of you beautiful ladies and tried it. It worked really REALLY well! So, THANK YOU!
483757 tn?1208481255 I have even tried safe essential oils, herbs, vitamins and massage. NOTHING IS HELPING and I am barely able to care for my 18 month old, let alone prepare for a newborn. My Neurologist said that I should be able to go on Lamictal to replace the Neurontin by my third trimester as all development has already taken place but my OB won't budge. My Rheumatologist suggested steroids because I have underlying myositis and arthritis but OB rejected that, too.
1243543 tn?1269124022 ve taken cyclobenzaprine myself for muscle spasms. When you first start taking, it might make you feel a little strange, and it can blur your vision a little. But as you begin to get use to it these side effects tend to go away. You don't have to be frightened of it, just be cautious. And don't drive or anything, til you get used to it. I've never heard of anyone taking half a pill, but its probably a good idea until you get use to it. And hopefully, it will make you feel better.
