i was prescribed oxycodone 5mg or tabs 2 at a time for back pain and cyclobenzaprine 10mg i was having severe pain so i took 2 oxycodone and 2 of the cyclobenzaprines and also 2 hydrocodone 5/500's i have a high tolerance for pain killers but i want to know if i am in any danger?
So he takes 6-8 10mg/325mg of oxycodone a day, 1-2 10mg of cyclobenzaprine (muscle relaxer) a day, 1-2 ambien at nights and now the dr just added 2 10mg of methadone a day. By night he is slurring his speech, falling asleep. I am so angry about all these pills. He ends up buying oxy off the street because he runs out of his prescription before the time to refill.
Is he being overdosed? He is very defensive when I try talking to him about this. That's his addiction.
Can I take Hydrocodone 10/325, Cyclobenzaprine 10mg, and Tramadol 50mg together safely?
Hi. I am wanting to quit taking Cyclobenzaprine. I took 20mg a day off and on, like twice a week for 2 years, and then started taking the 20 mg every day for the last 13 years. I plan to wean off, and am wondering what to expect as of withdrawal symptoms. Also, does anyone know of a natural med I could take in it's place?
Taken alone is makes you feel relaxed, rarely any euphoria, and very drowsy, but in combination with opiates it adds to the euphoria fealt from opiates and sedative sides effects. Taking soma and vicodin make it feel similiar in strnegth to taking oxycodone, which is stronger. It does have some analgesia effects on the body with its use.
Based on the findings, Cyclobenzaprine HCl should be used with caution in subjects with mild hepatic impairment starting with the 5 mg dose and titrating slowly upward. My new doctor prescribed me Cyclobenzaprine for my muscles spams but I take celexa on my regular basis. I remember he told me to be careful in no combining those two. Tonight, I took my celexa around 1am. At 3:55am, I forgot I took the celexa and I took Cyclobenzaprine. Do you think is something I should be worry? Like most I have always had general back pain I had several surgeries a few years ago where I was in the hospital 2 weeks with gallstones that dissolved and part of the sludge entered my pancreas that ate a hole through it causing 10 litters of fluid to build up behind my lungs. They basically cut me sternum to spine that & used a rib splitter. it causes pain under my breast still. Then last year was in a car accident that caused bulging discs to hit nerves in my lumbar and cervical.
I have been dealing with back issues on a personal level and doing transfers as a CNA can agitate the situation, so I am not taking the percocet (oxycodone) so as to not be sleepy during the hours I am working & driving, but am using the back spasm meds (cyclobenzaprine 10mg) and acetaminophen w/codeine before bed time. I am doing research on exercises and stretches as well as eating the right way in an attempt to help myself.
I was in a car accident March 20th, 2009. I was put on cyclobenzaprine and naproxen for 3 months by my doctor to treat whiplash from mid back to neck. I had my surgery on Oct 26th. I stayed in the hospital 3 days. I was able to sleep 2 days at home easily. By day 3 (Wednesday) at home I was fighting everything, sleep, headaches, constipation and my meds weren't working. They sent me home with Hyrdocondone for pain and Cyclobenzaprine for a muscle relaxer. By Friday I had a call into my Dr. for a medication change. I went on to Oxycodone which seem to help for pain and Methocarbamol for muscle relaxer.
I just remembered that about a year ago I was prescribed some muscle relaxers for my neck (Cyclobenzaprine). Do you guys think that if I take one or two of them when I am having a hard time sleeping from the restless legs s**t that it will help me sleep?
My neurologist just gave me some samples of Amrix, a time relased form of Cyclobenzaprine Hydrocholoride. He prescribed it for the pain and limited range of motion caused by tight neck muscles that didn't respond to stretching excersises. This is day two and I find it a remarkable improvement. I take it once a day in the evening and it seems the main sleepiness side effect is over while I sleep while the benefits remain the next day.
Among the drugs you are taking Cymbalta causes memory loss, Pamelor, cyclobenzaprine, nortriptyline, hydrocodone and promethazine cause confusion, Tramadol causes hallucination and together all these drugs can affect your memory. You are right, certain medications particularly muscle relaxants and antichlinergics, interfere with the results of EMG like baclofen and flexeril or cyclobenzaprine that you are taking. It would be prudent to apprise your neurologist of all the medications you are on, so that the EMG results are appreciated in that light. Muscle biopsy can be taken up after an EMG. Consult your neurologist for his preferences and expertise. Take care.
Today I still have constant burning sensations and tingling in my back, legs, feet, arms, and hands (now neck too). Sometimes I have numbness. Now taking Gabapentin 3x daily, Ibuprofen 800mg, Cyclobenzaprine 10mg. My primary doc is on vacation and I want her to give me an MRI order for my full spine. I've only gotten an order for only my lumbar spine from another doctor.
