Hi, I'm 33weeks 3 days and went to the Dr yesterday due to not feeling the baby moving as much as he usually does. Thankfully everything turned out great and he is still healthy. However in the ultrasound he's already face up, head down and really low. He's also taking deep breaths already. The midwife kept asking if I was sure I wasn't feeling contractions. I haven't had any or any Braxton hicks. She said he can be coming real soon. Has this happened to anyone else?
4 cm dilated contractions back to back and 90% effaced. But doctor says if I don't make dilation progress in two hrs she may discharge me and send me home to get "rest". My contractions are crazy strong and 2-3 min apart what rest could I possibly get at home ?!!!
Could be or they could be braxton hicks contractions which are practice contractions before the big day. Try drinking a large glass of water and laying down. If the continue and start getting closer together and more painful then head to the hospital. If they are irregular and lessen when you move and lay down then the are most likely false.
Got to the hospital at 3 am this morning with contractions 2-3 minutes apart went from 0 to 3 dilated and then went to 4 1/2 and the contractions slowly stopped. I was admitted into.the hospital.Now I am stuck and was sent home with contractions that are bothersome. My "student" doctor told me by law she cannot give me Potocin or break.my water due to the mere fact that I am only 37 &1. Has anyone heard of this? I understand that I am not 40 weeks but I cannot take this anymore.
Still 1 cm dilated and 50% effaced even though I have been having constant contractions last week. Doctor told me baby is in front of my cervix in my pelvic bone and thats why I havent d ialated more, baby isnt putting pressure on cervix. She said a severe contraction could possibly jolt her into place but I should do the childlike yoga pose as much as possible to try and help baby get in the right spot.
My doctor told me baby's head is in front of the cervix in my pelvic bone. Bc of this all the contractions I am experiencing are doing nothing bc she is stuck. It's about the same. Just mild cramping coming and going. I might head in just to make sure it's not labor seeing it's been going on since last night. With loose mb and what not.
I get really bad pain down by where the babies head is now that she's head down I've had it today and yesterday it's not a achy kinda pain in actually hurts really bad.
I can't tell. My back is killing me and I'm trying to time my contractions but I can't seem to keep track of time very well. I've never had any painful contractions before until now though so I think I'm in labor!
Wait until contractions are 5 mins apart n head in. If you want to speed up the process sit on edge of yourbed n bounce or go for a long walk. Keep moving! It will help you progress fast n dilate as well :) good luck mama its ur time!
Here lately I have been waking up in the middle of the night groaning and in pain due to contractions however I cnt never seem to time them because I'm just too sleepy.
And he reiterated to use the 5 1 1 rule. Contractions 5 minutes apart that last for 1 minute for at least 1 hour straight. Or if water breaks come in immediately.
I'm due in 5 days midair said today bubs head is fully engaged but they don't do cervix checks anymr as apparently it's unnecessary, will this mean I'm close to labor if she's in ready position
they found high protein in my urine again, & severe preclamsia & my blood pressure was in the 170-190 range
I have had consistent abdominal pain for 2 weeks now. Also I have lost my mucus plug. I am in back labor with contractions every 8 minutes in my lower back. Lastly I have had watery loose stool (tmi sorry). Does this mean labor is near? Could I have baby in next 24 hours?
Hello im 38 wks had contractions for about 3 hrs every 5 minutes got in the shower and when i got out they started to go away...what should i do!????
my daughter has been head down since 26 weeks but ever since I turned 34 weeks it hurts down there when I walk and it's also a lot of pressure. My doctor won't check for dilation until 39 weeks and I'll be 37 tmrw. Could all the pain and pressure mean I'm dilated? Or could this mean labor is near?
I'm having small contractions but they feel horrible its hard to take! Anything that will help? Please!
Im due in 4 days and all last night and today ive been having lower abdomen pains which comes and goes like crampy pains, lower back ache and it takes my breath away when it comes too and does go when i move etc, anyone knows if its contractions or not? Baby has dropped really low as my midwife said hes 2/5th engaged and they couldnt measure his head at last scan due to being too far down...
My due date was March 22 but baby has shown no sign of wanting to come out so checked in at the hospital yesterday. They gave me medicine to make my cervix soft and thin but after 14 hours didn't help so they broke my water and induced me and i started to feel contractions right away and immediately got the Epidural. My contractions now are getting closer and super intense and so far i feel fine and pain free!!!
