i have had increased sweating since this past summer it seems like I perspire at every opportunity I've been on well butrin and Strattera at the same time I am currently tapering down the Strattera I was wondering if anyonee Experienced sweating extra from strattera?????
Starts out with my former medicine, strattera, but when I would take it I felt my heart was out of control and my blood pressure went up. Now on wellbutrin for about a week but I feel foggy and it is causing worse ibs. Not sure if that side effect will go away but giving it a try. My question is, if anyone can answer, why was I able to take strattera as a child with 0 side effects and then high heart rate etc now.
I have been on Pristiq 100mg for 3 months, Wellbutrin 150mg for 5 weeks and we added Strattera 40mg. Pristiq for PMDD, Wellbutrin for motivation and Strattera for focus. Separately they help each thing only. So was wondering if anyone else is on a combo like this and it’s helped. And how long. I seem to be anxious more lately before adding Strattera....hoping this helps it. No libido what so ever.
I know that both buspar and wellbutrin have been used to help people quit smoking so i believe they are along the same lines i know that i have used wellbutrin alone and with ritalin and in both instances i noticed a great improvement in my concentration ability. Not sure if this helps but just wanted to share this information with you.
The risk that does exist would relate to the fact that alcohol withdrawal tends to lower the seizure threshold and Wellbutrin does the same. And believe it or not, you experience mild alcohol withdrawal during the night after you drink more than two drinks of alcohol (hence the disrupted sleep). So, the risk depends on how much more than two drinks you have....

I was on zoloft for about a month and was pleased with the way it stabalized my terrible mood swings and anger. It basically numbed my emotions and made it easier to get up and go to work, school, etc. without having bursts of anger or tears for no apparent reason. Although it helped the mood swings, I still felt no motivation to do anything and felt even more fatigued than ever before. My biggest original problem was my drive and motivation.
my doctor has me on paxil 40 mg and wellbutrin xl 300 mg ..... is this combination beneficial to me cuz every since i've combined the two i been feeling more depressed than ever and i cant sleep at night so she has me on restoril for that ..... am i heading in the right direction? or am i making things worse?
Wellbutrin is an antidepressant. Your doc is treating the anxiety and not the ADHD. Wellbutrin is a fairly mild drug, and might even be slightly helpful, but it doesn't treat ADHD. Perhaps, it is just a step to the stim meds? You need to know what her overall plan for you is. If she cannot communicate this to you.....then
I think, if you can, that you need to look for a new psyc that specializes in ADHD. She seems to fear that you might abuse the stim meds.
My daughter started going to phychiatrist(she just turned 18 she was on 40mg of prozac) he put her on valium 5mg,celexa60 mg and and 100 mg of wellbutrin what is this combination usually treat? She has some aniexty and depression ?Her hands shake after wellbutrin,but doctor said to try and see if it subsides after body gets use to it.Please let me know if this combination is used alot?
Currently, I take them both in the morning and I feel myself kinda shifting back and forth between feeling focused and awake or tired and dizzy and I want to know if it would be better to just take the Wellbutrin in the morning and the Lexapro at night? Like, would that change anything or does it matter?
i started tapering him off and some most of these have calmed down at a quarter of the dose, strattera is a non stimulant and works like an antidepresant wellbutrin but is for kids too..frontline has a series on the medicated child on www . pbs. org, you should really check this out, it is scary!!! deals with kids being on physc meds...

As he was grew up we tried different meds for short periods, but the adderall made his tics worse, the strattera did not do anything ( we recently just tried strattera agan for the recommended time and dosage), in the past 1.5 years he has been involved with pot (it helps his tics) and then moved on to meth. He said he was very focused on the meth and it did not bother his tics. I am completely puzzeled how adderall could have bothered his tics and on meth did not?????
I have already list 10 lbs which that is the only good thing. I told him and he said I could start the wellbutrin. He gave me 300 mg but I was told to split them. I've been taking them for 4 days now. I know its not a miracle drug and it takes a while to kick in. However I'm still suffering from all of the side effects and I don't know what to do. t know if I should start taking this drug if it is dangerous for me when combining pot and bupropion. I am 17 and 130 lbs if that would help for anything and am taking a dosage of 150 mg of bupropion. I've been prescribed adderall for the past 4 years, I currently take 75mg per day. A couple months ago my Dr. started me on strattera in conjunction with my adderall. I have not noticed any improvement in my ability to concentrate or remain organized since starting the strattera, however my anxiety is gone and I am finally happy.
A couple weeks ago my Dr. left and I was given a "temp" to take her place.

ve heard of combining ssris such as Prozac with Wellbutrin to deal with sexual and weight gain side effects. But you could also try a different med; it could be the Prozac has stopped working after all these years. They do poop out for many people. If it has pooped out, it makes no sense to take two drugs when one isn't working anymore. But your psychiatrist is the one to start this conversation with.
