I know when my husband eats lots of red meat or things that contain a lot of protein he has the same problem. So maybe slow down on the meats and have him go green for a week to naturally cleanse his colon.
Actually there are a few, but the only one I know about (and know people have used it, according to them successfully) is Dr. Natura's "Colonix" program. Not saying whether it's good or bad, whether it works or not, since I haven't used it myself.

I visited that site. They've got the liver cleanse, the requisite colon cleanse, and a candida cleanse. If you ask me, their real specialty is the wallet cleanse.

Are laxatives good to take if your trying to detox your body? I'm a college student so I rarely get the chance to eat a well balance meal and am starting to see my digestive system gets upset more easily. I'm also feeling more nasueas lately & no I'm not pregnant.
So, can I take a laxative maybe to cleanse myself of all the bad food & toxins I eat? Or is there something else I should take?
I take Almighty Cleanse a all natural colon cleaner. I also took ex-lax due to teh fact that I had to get under a wieght limit to join. I lost 35 pounds in about 60 days on the nighgt before I went for the physical I ran for about a hour and a half with a trash bag on to loose water wieght and I didnt drink or eat anything for about 24 hours. I need hard facts to prove I didn't have thc in my sytsem without some hard facts my future with the USCG is gone.
The problem with using products that do a colon cleanse is that they are filled with laxatives, yes most of them have natural elements, but laxatives none the less. This actually causes more problems to your colon over a period of time. I swore by a colon cleanse product prior to my colonoscopy it was the ONLY thing that made me regular.

I just read your entry and really feel for you. The absence of understanding, particularly from so-called doctors, whose job it is (one might think) to at least try and find out what is the problem, is frustrating and sad. Your situation does sound very, very unpleasant indeed. I'm not an expert, but have done so much research over the years that I connect some dots (because I have a doctor like yours).
Cramps may be coming from build up or even digestive dissorders. A good gentle cleanse I know of is called ACOG colon cleanse. I use it myself and it does wonders for the elimintation process. It comes with an Aloe vera concentrated juice that soothes and heals for a easy, painless and totally natural bowel movement. I say look it up, find more info and see for yourself. Well there are several other things you can try such as an herbal colon cleanse, magnesium and probiotics. I don't know what types of herbal supplements you would be able to get but Hydrangea helps magnesium levels and probiotics help if you have an imbalance of good bacteria in your gut. Sorry its not much help.
