Are laxatives good to take if your trying to detox your body? I'm a college student so I rarely get the chance to eat a well balance meal and am starting to see my digestive system gets upset more easily. I'm also feeling more nasueas lately & no I'm not pregnant. So, can I take a laxative maybe to cleanse myself of all the bad food & toxins I eat? Or is there something else I should take?

I am currently taking Zoloft for depression and anxiety and am preparing to do a detox colon cleanse. Is it safe to do a all natural herbal detox colon cleanse while on Zoloft as long as the Zoloft is taken a few hours apart from all other supplements?

i am starting or have started a month long one through a supplement that i take 2 in the morning for the full body cleanse and than two supps for the colon cleanse at night time. i am wondering if someone can tell me how does one know if its working(aside from using the BR alot) and two how they felt during it?

This cleanse is meant to be used as a juice fast and laxative-based colon detox. You want to use it differently. I have no idea if this works if you do it the way they suggest, though I can almost guarantee the cleanse has nothing to do with weight loss -- if you stop eating of course you'll lose weight. When you start eating again, unless you change your diet, you'll gain the weight back. Using laxatives can be helpful in a short-term fast, but they can also be tricky.

Colon cleanse is not an enema. It's laxatives you take or drink very simular to what you took before your colonoscopy. They cleaned your colon out before they put the snake camera up your colon. LOL I don't think theres a lot of medical benefit to cleaning the colon unless you have constipation problems. Too much info right?

A word about the colon cleansing. It is usually a good thing to do. But maybe not right now. When you are doing a cleansing, you are in the bathroom quite a bit and that is probably already going on?
