My face gets really hot and bright red at random times. My hands are usually freezing and my body is a normal to cool temp. It lasts a couple hours slowly leaving but always quick to come on. I can go a week without any problem or they could happen every single day for a week. It usually effects my cheeks, nose and chin but has recently effecting my ears and throat. What could this be? and what can i do to prevent it?
Hi my hands have been red for a long time i'm 18 and i remember having red hands as a little boy. They get red when my hands are by my waist. My hands don't hurt and don't swell up when there red but i could feel the heat when it turns red. When i'm outside they turn purple and cold and stay cold for a long time even if i enter school they stay cold and than later on they start turning red. If you know how to treat it could you please tell me.
for ten days i've had a red, itchy, burning, painful rash on my hands and face ... esp. around my mouth and chin. very dry ... red bumps or marks ... no fluid or anything inside ... not like pox ... like many many small bumps or marks.really itches and i won't go out cause of how it looks. it is on the top of my hands and left wrist. so itchy. it is not spreading at all ... just won't go away ... i know of no new products i've used. i'm 57 yrs. old.
I think it was probably 1 and a half years that i have had cold hands. Even when i am warm, my hands remain very cold, especially around the fingertips. My hands often go grey with bright orange blothes (like highlighter) randomley on my hands when they are very cold. My fingertips are also often grey even when my hands are not cold. Can this be connected to my red hands? A lot of the time, my hands are blotchy in a way that you can see my blood vessels being very red.
Was on Augmentin but still has fever so changed antibiotics. I noticed yesterday that my child had red blotchy areas on his cheeks when we came in from getting out of the car. He also had areas that looked like a fresh moskito bite on his knuckles of his hands and he was scratching them. Then an area on his ankle too. After about an hour this all went away. No rash on arms, hands other than knuckle area, truck or legs.
I am writing this for my sister. In the winter she gets extremely cold hands and feet and her fingernails turn purple. She is not normally that cold to touch, as much as she feels cold herself. So I'm a 16 year old male and I have really red, cold and dry skin on my face, hands and feet. So pretty much all the places the body conducts heat. I never really had a problem with red skin until recently. It doesn't look like a rash and it's been here too long to be anyways, some people said it might be acne, but you don't get acne on your hands and feet. I think it may be tied to poor circulation, past sunburns or just irritated skin.

Unless I work super early than it is 6 beers but I work usually at nigths and pick up day shifts. I used to get beet red sometimes in the face when I was your age. So I wonder if it's more likely to happen at that age. But even lean into it. It can look healthy. It's also normal. Someone told me that you're better looking than you think. Usually at those ages people are self conscious and pick themselves apart, but then years later you look back at a photo or video of yourself and you think wow I was actually much better looking than I realized.
I get rashes on my face around my eyes and nose all the time, I get pains in my left chest and the red hands in both hands, but sometimes only one hand or one finger.

However, now that the rashes were gone, I started having weird red spots with lighter area around them on my hands, inner arm, thighs, body, palms and my soles. They do not itch and more of these appears when I feel cold. Whenever I am under the sun, these red spots tend to disappear or decrease in numbers significantly but some are still present.

2 days ago my dog started throwing up, so we changed her dog food and yesterday she was fine. You didn't say you are taking any medicines. Some medications cause flushing. And some medical conditions can cause flushing, too. A blood disease, for instance. Spicy foods or MSG and sodium nitrite can also cause flushing. nitrites are found in lunch meats or cold cuts. Nitro can do it too. - Maybe a lack of potassium...
frequently my cheeks get very hot and so do my ears it feels like im sitting in front of a heater but my hands and toes are freezing cold and the rest of my body is normal tempeture and the other night i used a thermometer on my forhead and it was 97.3F then i checked my cheeks and it was 99.9F my cheeks and ears were red and really hot so i would like to know what you think the cause of that might be or why that happens? as well i've been having a lot of migraines...
