The Dentist put me on amoxicillin 875mg twice a day, after 6 days I called him as it was having no effect. he then put me on clyndamycin 300mg twice a day, this is day two, it seemed better this morning and by this afternoon it isswelling slightly the tissue above my tooth is spongie again and I can tell it's filling with pus.

I would call your dr immediately and get switched to another antibiotic and see if you need to go to er. I am currently on penicillin for my tooth infection after root canal. It is working for me and not many issues.

Hi, I took Clindamycin 300 mg 3x a day. I only finished 12 out of 21 pills as I feared the high risk of colitis associated with this drug. My question is that after stopping the medication about 3 days ago, I am having long (6"+), loose stools. Could this be c. diff? I also have a lot of gas throughout the day, some mild abdominal pain too.

If you look at the label on cough syrup for children, even those typically recommend for age 6 and up (at least the brands I have seen.) When my 2 1/2 year old has a cold with a cough I give him milk slightly warmed with honey in it. I have also given him a teaspoon of honey on it's own. It works extremely well.

I wouldn't even treat for "possible infection" with either. I'd wait for test results to come back to see if you even have either of them. clindamycin isn't going to help for either if you should be infected with either of them. you are wasting your time and money by taking it.

They calledme bavk Wednesday to tell me that I tested positive for chlamydia. They prescribed me Clindamycin. The dosage is 300mg 4 times a day for 7 days. But I can't take it. It makes me so sick and makes me feel like my throat is swelling closed. Anybody else experienced this? Or know what else I can take? I'm going to call my OB in the morning. Go to the doctor. Clindamycin is a high risk for gut issues.

I have tried so many different medications and treatments but none seem to work long-term and afternoon 14 years of this I am very frustrated and just don’t know what to do. Many of the medications seem to help for a couple of months but then my acne always flares back up. I have seen many doctors and dermatologists and my last one said that if what he put me on now does not work there is not many options left aside from acutane which I REALLY do not want to do.

I have not had any breakous for about 2 months since using clindamycin during the day, and sulfacetamide at night. I just recently added the retin-a becasue i wanted some anti-aging benefit. Also, i would like to add an antioxidant serum to my skin since i live in florida and want to protect my skin from UV etc.Do you recommend anything that wont break me out. When would i apply it before or after clindamycin? I use blue lizard face suncream as my spf.
