Vomiting after eating because you feel you are fat or want to lose weight is a very bad idea. It leads to all sorts of medical problems and leads to the development of an eating disorder which means your whole life can become obsessed with bingeing and purging (vomiting) and you are miserable. Just ask anyone on this website who's been there. Like me.

I found a very informative website I think everyone, including healthcare providers, should check out. It is mthfr.net and there is a wealth of information regarding these mutations and PREGNANCY! One big difference you will notice is that Dr. Ben Lynch (of mthfr.net) actually discourages use of folic acid (especially during pregnancy) and recommends L-methylfolate instead.

If you're not hungry now, just wait a couple more weeks, and you'll be eating just about everything in front of you!! If you're past your morning sickness period, you should be eating 5-6 healthy, small meals/snacks regardless if you're hungry or not, and drinking upwards of 80 oz. of fluids (fruit juice, water, etc.) per day regardless if you're thirsty or not.

This feeling happens. You have to be strong and fight it. Oct. 26th I will have quit takeing many roxis for 3 years now. I quit those cold tukey. I wasnt abusing the percoets but felt myself wanting to. So I said to myself its time to stop. I am a 35 year old female. With a hubby and 2 children. They need me.

Avatar f tn I have always had an issue with disordered eating. It is not clinically diagnosed, but I am smart enough to recognize when something isn't healthy. My problem is that I will go from one extreme to another. I either don't care what I eat and just eat whatever or I get very obsessed with what I'm eating and the amount of calories in it. Counting calories can be triggering for me, so I have held off on that for a while.

Avatar f tn As usual, I will suggest you don't look at the website above -- Atkins has been proven not to work and to not be healthy. There are many better options. And just to be clear, you're not on a no-carb diet -- vegetables and fruits and beans also contain carbs. I assume what you mean is you're not eating simple carbs, or I hope that's what you mean. Being too austere in your diet can be a problem, especially if you're diet is unbalanced.

I try to eat 3 meals a day however I just get really sick after the first bite of food except for at dinner time. I thought I was going to gain weight after getting off of the vicodin.
1011285 tn?1302116858 So today is my 2 weeks clean and im so happy i am not using hydro or oxy no more. My mind is not in a haze and not to mention my stress levels are waaay lower. I want to thank everyone who helped me out there and it means alot. This website was prolly the key to my success so far. Everyone out there in withdrawl land,just remember its only for a few days, you will start yo feel better day by day, and yes you do start to feel normal once again. Just never give up never surrender.

For years my weight has been between 102 & 106. I'm 5'3". Over the past few years I have gained 15 lbs. and it keeps adding on. I can't believe that at my age , this is a huge problem for me.

The main diet since the invention of agriculture, which made modern economies and the corresponding advances that ultimately came with clean water and abundant food that increased our lifespans, is grains, legumes, and fruits and veggies.

Avatar n tn Look up "the full plate diet" it's really NOT a diet, but healthy eating. That's what I do, all it is, is a high fiber diet eating lots of whole grains (brown rice, wheat bread, oatmeal) fruits, vegetables and water.
Avatar f tn My question stems from the fact that I do in fact eat, and I eat fairly clean and vegetarian, yet I am scared of netting over 400 calories a day. On days when I do net 400 or more I start to hate myself and I fear that I am going to gain weight. Is this a specific problem or what?
