Common Questions and Answers about Clarinex d generic

clarinex

Avatar m tn Two regimens of antibiotics have proven to be ineffective. I am using daily the generic equivalent of Flonase, am also taking an antihistamine, Advair, and doing nasal irrigation with a neti pot. I have also had a chest XRay, which my physician said was clear. An ENT doctor examined my nose and throat using a camera probe and indicated that my vocal cords were slightly infamed -- but that was about it. Even with all that, I can't seem to shake this condition loose.
Avatar f tn Her OB and PCP told her that taking her clarinex was OK. She is miserable without it and right now has a wicked cold. I have been reading now that clarinex is OK to take and other sites saying it is not OK. She is 21 weeks right now. Why would they say it is OK if it isn't? Thanks for any info.
Avatar n tn Claritin and Clarinex (they work very differently) might help. Claritin makes me light headed for 30 minutes, raises blood pressure a little but wears off after a few hours. Clarinex works better for me, lasts 14 hours on me. Both are pretty weak for antihistamines. Other than this there is a couple more that use the same med as Claritin, so same effect pretty much. The other antihistamines usually cause drowsyness. Don't know of too many nasal sprays with out steroids.
519035 tn?1348275773 Thanks;) I have some allergy medicine, more in the chest now then in the head;)
Avatar f tn my mom has been experiencing this weird outbreak of hives all over her body, and when she has an outbreak it seems to cause severe joint pain, but not in the same joints it kinda travels around.she has been to an allergist but they put her on predisone and clarinex and zantec but as soon as the pred. is done the rash seems to rehash and the clarinex and othe meds seem not to help at all.
1136103 tn?1260667675 I take singulair, clarinex-d and lipo-flavonoid (for ringing in the ear) also the jelly or goo I am seeing happens almost everyday or every other day, every week is different.
Avatar n tn First is the cough from a problem in side or something you are breathing in? A good test I use is a HEPA filted mask. (the kind you can get in the hardware store with canisters). Wearing that for 5 minutes should clear up the mucus quite a bit if it is something you are breathing in. Easy test and takes only 5 minutes. Try a deep breath with the mask on after 5 minutes and see if you still feel like coughing.
374225 tn?1269899262 There are two types of generic Fentanyl and at least one of you claims that one is superior to the other. Which one is the better of the two? My doctor is probably going to let me try the patches over the methadone and I just want to be sure. It amazes me how much knowledge we all have accumulated and outside of these boards so much of it is wasted. I'm so glad this place exists and I found it.
Avatar n tn But there are many many plans under Part D. Does anyone know which Medicare Part D plan covers these drugs? Any information is greatly appreciated. I am getting desperate. Thanks!
Avatar f tn My wife and another female relative have taken Ambien (generic) for years, and it still seems to work/help. I do not know what the W/D part of your subject is about.
536009 tn?1293190781 In fact many brand name companies also supply the generic. (Eutroxig Brand name thyroxine and generic Oroxine thyroxine in Australia are both made by Sigma) You ought to make sure it has Vit D added as you need extra Vit D to aid the absorption of calcium in the gut ( that is Vit D's only role in our bodies!). I too am on Vit D 2,000 Iu per day...and believe me it has helped! Cheers!
Avatar f tn your lack of vitamin D can cause extreme fatigue.. I am 44, and have been on dilantin name brand, the generic didnt work, for about 11yrs as adult and was on it for 5 yrs as a child(my stepmom took me off of it thinking i didnt need it).
Avatar f tn If you go to good RX it does not list a generic for Levoxyl. Synthroid of course is levothyroxin as it’s generic. There Hass to be a difference between the two drugs, I was told to get off the medication and have awful insomnia when I was trying to switch between the two and had a dose increase and I’m highly sensitive to medications in general.
345124 tn?1234483278 i did go into a walkin clinic so thats how i got that diagnosis. i was prescribed a combination of nasonex and clarinex, then a round of allegra d. the first two meds seemed to help, but i wonder if it was possible a desperate kind of placebo effect. the allegra d sent me into panic attacks, which i assume was because the pseudoephedrine in it, so i stopped taking it and of course now my symptoms are back. any input? please?
Avatar m tn s had problems with holding her urine. At times it will just come out. She was put on a med. from the Vet. Does anyone know of a generic brand or natural one that will do the same. I can't keep going back paying office visits everytime she needs a new med.
1134609 tn?1269272200 I have never had any luck when I have been placed on the generic brands of medications. Celexa especially; I was on it for 10 years, tried the generic several times and paid for it. 3. I have also been on Neurontin for the past 10 years. In a past post, I wondered if they decrease in dosage is what was causing me so many problems. However, I am back on the brand name of the medication and there's a HUGE difference between the two.
Avatar f tn s and my daughter has many of my symptoms(fatique, weight gain, hair loss etc.) so she went to her dr. The dr gave her a prescription for generic Synthroid 50 mcg. Her test results are: Tsh 1.85 ( .45-4.5 ) T4 free 1.45 ( .82-1.77) T3 free 3.3 ( 2.0-4.4) She has been diagnosed with pcos and is also Metaforim. She has been watching what she eats and exercising. She is even trying to train for a 5K but having a difficult time.
345124 tn?1234483278 i finally saw a doctor today after a year of sinus and eustachian tube symptoms and off and on dizziness. mostly it was the spooky dizziness that made me want to see a doctor.

Avatar n tn I have had the worst sinus headache within the past three days, i have consumed three tylenol extra strength and a total of six generic acetaminophen nighttime cold pills.
Dog by the time I got to read your reply I had already purchased a product suggested by live chat pharmacist Ronda R...she said Allegra D or Claritin D(generic) and local Walgreens sold my wife Wal-itin D........contacted my Dr. and he also stated the same as you 'I would suggest not taking pseudoephedrine with metoprolol. It could elevate her heart rate. Loratadine by itself would be fine.
Avatar n tn I use use Clarinex which helps a little. Tried Claritin and it did not do anything. Most nasal sprays help, a non steroid nasal spray such as NasalCrom might help too and is gentle with virtually no side effects. I found that allergy shots was the only thing that stopped it for me. I don't use nasal sprays anymore. My rynitis was really bad and clogging my air ways. Now it seems to be almost gone. I get a bit sticky but never more than clearing my throat kind of annoyance.
Avatar n tn Hi, I'm 18 and was diagnosed with vitamin D deficiency in Feburary earlier this year with a level of 15nmol and was only put on 800iu a day. However my symptoms got very bad by July so I was put on a weekly tablet of 20,000iu d3 a week and after just 4 weeks my levels had risen up to 110nmol so I carried on taking the weekly dose for 4 more weeks but my doctor never repeated my blood test at the end of it.
