Side effects of singulair are many varying from non serious ones like nausea,abdominal pain,headache,heart burns and GI discomfort to serious ones like anaphylaxis,liver damage and depression and hallucinations.You can take zytec(cetrizine) for your allergies but it is also not without side effects.They may vary from allergic reactions to raised heart beat,seizures and liver damage.
my mom has been experiencing this weird outbreak of hives all over her body, and when she has an outbreak it seems to cause severe joint pain,but not in the same joints it kinda travels around.she has been to an allergist but they put her on predisone and clarinex and zantec but as soon as the pred. is done the rash seems to rehash and the clarinex and othe meds seem not to help at all.
I have also had a chest XRay, which my physician said was clear. An ENT doctor examined my nose and throat using a camera probe and indicated that my vocal cords were slightly infamed -- but that was about it.
Even with all that, I can't seem to shake this condition loose. How can I rid myself of this condition once and for all?
Should I request a CT Scan for further examination of this condition?
Wearing that for 5 minutes should clear up the mucus quite a bit if it is something you are breathing in. Easy test and takes only 5 minutes. Try a deep breath with the mask on after 5 minutes and see if you still feel like coughing.
You could also try taking Benadryl and seeing if you can take a deep breath after 25 minutes. But the mask also covers irritants. Both are easy tests.

Claritin probably isn't going to affect the mucus.
ve been having similar problems with my hearing. I went to the doctor and he gave me clarinex and flonnase. The medications did nothing. I have spoken with two other people that have had similar issues with their hearing. One person said his problems went away after one month. I've had problems for one month and it doesn't seem do be getting any better.
I use use Clarinex which helps a little. Tried Claritin and it did not do anything. Most nasal sprays help, a non steroid nasal spray such as NasalCrom might help too and is gentle with virtually no side effects. I found that allergy shots was the only thing that stopped it for me. I don't use nasal sprays anymore. My rynitis was really bad and clogging my air ways. Now it seems to be almost gone. I get a bit sticky but never more than clearing my throat kind of annoyance.
My cousin had some Clarinex that she gave me and I took one pill a day for 5 days and kept my skin as soft and moist as possible during that time, and am happy to report that the bumps have receeded and the itching has stopped. There is a little tightness of the skin remaining, but that is a small irritant compared to where I was on May 2nd. Thanks again........
m having to get my tissue out all the time, eyes itching, eyes watering and turning bloodshot and sneezing a lot. But the tablets have only calmed It down a bit, I have tried two types of tablets and the second ones seem to be better but not 100%. Also I'm not sure If this is cold/flu related but recently I have been having a blocked nose all the time and one nostril keeps running, but it's as if it's water. I was wondering If anyone knew why that was happening?
Hello there, since 1995 (I am 31 now) I have had the inner corner of my both eyes very itchy. It usually starts with a casual touch or rub and then you just can not seem to stand the itchiness. So then I have to use my first finger's tip to press against the small lump of flash in the inner merging corner of the eye. (Hope that's descriptive enough to understand).
When I went to see the doctor around that time, I was told that I have an eye allergy and that "just" happens.
I went to my doctor when experiencing thick post nasal drip, dizziness, puffy eye and she diagnosed me with a sinus infection and put me on augmenten for 10 days. The mucus is now clear but the thick clear sticky post nasal drip is still chronic. I'm constantly snorting and spitting up mucus. I went to the ENT and he prescribed Nasonex and Mucinex. But it did not help. He then did a scope and found an abudnance of thick sticky mucus and he suctioned some of it out.
I have seen the doctor like 5 times and regardless of the medicines, nothing seems to work
I get runny nose, sometimes it drips virtually water, itchy ears, constant wheezing and coughing to the point it hurts to cough already
they gave me advair for my coughing and it doesnt work, they gave me benadryl, allegra, and a bunch of other antihiestamines and they still dont do the job
I am almost to the point of giving up because it just unbelievably annnoying because I cant sleep well any more, I
I have taken at least 10 different inhalers, clarinex, antibiotics, antacids, and nasal spray. Nothing works. I now also have a small lump behind my left ear (not sure if it is related in any way or not). If this was due to allergies or asthma, wouldn't the inhalers and meds have helped? What other possibilities could there be or should I be trying something else or getting another opinion a this point.
I am currently taking Clarinex and prescription nose spray wit a steroid in it. Nothing helps my allergies. it is so bad i cannot even irrigate my nostrils with a neti pot- the water doesn't drip through.
I a supposed to start allergy shots on tuesday of next week. Does anybody have any insight to this? Will this work for me? I was considering getting a surgery to clear my nasal airway. i know it won't cure my allergies but will help my quality of life.
She told me that my x-ray looks ok, but my eardrums looked rather tight/slightly swollen. She thinks I’ve got a chronic sinus infection. She put me on Clarinex and 2 nasal sprays to fix the problem. It’s been 5 days but I’m still struggling to breathe. Leading a normal life is really difficult. It’s worst in the morning (4-10AM) and at night (8-11PM). In between my breathing is still fairly labored, but not as bad.
I took an oral antihistamine, waited 20 minutes, then took a towel with very hot water and started applying pressure and rubbing it to try and spread out the liquid injected under my skin. I did this for about 3 minutes. Then I only kept hot water on it for another minute.
The area is getting more red now after about 15 minutes. But the bubble is a little more flat. So I moved some of the liquid. A few minutes ago the itching was almost gone. It's nice and red but not itching.
I'm scheduled to have a VNG on Tuesday at 3:15pm. I'm a migraine sufferer and I haven't gotten a clear answer from the audiologist about whether Effexor and Topamax will interfere with the results of the VNG. My neurologist has told me that I'm not allowed to stop those. I also have a question about muscle relaxers like Amrix and Zanaflex. I'm trying to go off of my meclazine and this morning has shown me that the next four days are going to be really rough.
I have hit a wall and not sure which direction to go. I could use some advice and support

For 7 years I have suffered from some form of anxiety in the past 2 years the panic and anxiety has been better. I started off with therapy and medication, Lexapro, and xanox with EMDR. The process worked well and I felt pretty good for awhile. Then I got married and my wife and I wanted to have kids.
Hi - I'm new to the board but have been watching and many posts have been very helpful. It's nice to be able to get feedback from people who are actually going through the same things. I haven't been able to find anything about stopping treatment for a few weeks and then starting at a lower dose and I apologize if I've missed a thread.
