Common Questions and Answers about What is clarinex medication

clarinex

Avatar m tn In the meantime, i have switched allergy medication from Clarinex to Xyzal, which may also be helping a little. I now take the allergy medication before bed whereas before, I had been taking Clarinex in the mornings. I notice that the problem of too much mucus seems less prevalent in the mornings upon waking up. It worsens in the afternoon and evening, especially after meals. Again, thank you for your input, Dr. Rajput.
Avatar m tn Hi Crystal, Thanks for all the great info. Process of elimination. At least now, I will know what's causing what from all the great info you have provided. Will purchase NasalCrom first thing in the morning. I have tried Flunisolide nasal spray last year, which helped for about an hour, then nose would swell back up and dry out real bad. Afrin worked great, but I was getting addicted to the spray, had to stop. Read long term use was not appropriate.
Avatar f tn I'm scheduled to have a VNG on Tuesday at 3:15pm. I'm a migraine sufferer and I haven't gotten a clear answer from the audiologist about whether Effexor and Topamax will interfere with the results of the VNG. My neurologist has told me that I'm not allowed to stop those. I also have a question about muscle relaxers like Amrix and Zanaflex. I'm trying to go off of my meclazine and this morning has shown me that the next four days are going to be really rough.

Avatar m tn Have you tried Allergix ? Only thing with this medication is that it may make you drowsy. Sounds like you do have pretty bad "hay fever" .. What are you surronding's like? Are there a lot of trees and grass etc...
Avatar f tn She is miserable without it and right now has a wicked cold. I have been reading now that clarinex is OK to take and other sites saying it is not OK. She is 21 weeks right now. Why would they say it is OK if it isn't? Thanks for any info.
Avatar f tn she has been to an allergist but they put her on predisone and clarinex and zantec but as soon as the pred. is done the rash seems to rehash and the clarinex and othe meds seem not to help at all. She is getting so frustrated and has no idea where to turn next and who she should go to for further assistance, PLEASE HELP!!!!!
Avatar n tn First is the cough from a problem in side or something you are breathing in? A good test I use is a HEPA filted mask. (the kind you can get in the hardware store with canisters). Wearing that for 5 minutes should clear up the mucus quite a bit if it is something you are breathing in. Easy test and takes only 5 minutes. Try a deep breath with the mask on after 5 minutes and see if you still feel like coughing.
Avatar n tn Im sick of the light headed pulling sensation I have all the time. Im looking for advice as to what other things I should do or try and maybe what else I should have my doctors check Things I have done or tried: Acupuncture - stress relief - love it; believe it has helped me to get off my anxiety meds.
1136103 tn?1260667675 it's weird because it is like a goo or jelly it is not a solid but I will see a specialist..

Avatar m tn there is no best medication for the condition you described. And medication has to fit the whole picture about the person and that can only be done through a consultation with a well-qualified psychiatrist.
Avatar m tn There is Clonazepam. Also known as Klonopin. Which is an anxiety med. My question is what has your question got to do with anxiety? I'm a little bit confused. You can also check out the forum that deals with medication here on MedHelp. Just click on the list of forums. You will see it listed.
345124 tn?1234483278 talk to ent doctor about vasomotor rhinitis. you can also have what is called as mixed rhinitis. There is no cure for vasomotor rhinitis. Mayo ent doctor told me to use nasal rinses twice a day for the rest of my life, use musinex tablets to keep drainage thin , use a humidifer. Doctor said the rinses may seem like they are not doing any good but they really are he said. Could have fooled me.
Avatar f tn Give the medication at least 2 weeks and see if the response is good. If this is a fungal infection, antifungal and corticosteroid creams may be able to help. Is the spot itchy? Is there any scaling present? Any associated white lines and redness in the nearby area? Observe if the rash is enlarging. Also, fungal infections may present with itchiness and there may be a well defined reddish border delineating it from surrounding normal skin.
Avatar n tn I have been having a deep cough with wheezing and greenish thick phlegm for 6 months now. The phelgm is coming from my lungs and is often like strings. When I breath it makes a whistling and rattling sound. I initially had a bad cold and then the cough just never went away. I have taken 3 courses of AB's, had a normal chest x ray in Jan and the oxygen levels are normal. I had a basic breathing test done and that was normal.
Avatar f tn Both my GP and ENT say that since the mucus is clear there is no infection. Is is possible this is from Acid Reflux? And is there a test or procedure to know for sure? I'm considering going to my GI doctor. Just also want to state that I never had stuffy nose or runny nose only the thick post nasal drip. Thanks for your help.
Avatar f tn I don't know if your medication is causing it, but I can tell from your previouis post and this on that you are having a terrible time. I will try to be brief since I am a little preoccupied at this time, so forgive me if I sound brusque. It usually doesn't last. At least for me. it was a big feature of my psychosis which happened during the depressed cycle of my bipolar disorder.
Avatar m tn Did the doctor prescribe any medication for you to take? Also do you take Aspirin? From my own experience, I started Verapamil after nearly a week. I felt my upper right tummy pain so I saw the GP. He let me did an ultrasound. It came up with a very early stage fatty liver. My ALP also raise. Since it rise, never go back to normal. After a year, I was diagnosed with diabetes and high cholesterol. I don't like red meat so I didn't eat enough red meat. My iron is very low.
Avatar n tn The ER doc said it might be endometriosis or my birth control pill that is causing it. If anyone is taking Ocella have you had this problem before? and what do I need to do?
