Clarinex for babies

Common Questions and Answers about Clarinex for babies

clarinex

Avatar n tn Claritin and Clarinex (they work very differently) might help. Claritin makes me light headed for 30 minutes, raises blood pressure a little but wears off after a few hours. Clarinex works better for me, lasts 14 hours on me. Both are pretty weak for antihistamines. Other than this there is a couple more that use the same med as Claritin, so same effect pretty much. The other antihistamines usually cause drowsyness. Don't know of too many nasal sprays with out steroids.
Avatar f tn my mom has been experiencing this weird outbreak of hives all over her body, and when she has an outbreak it seems to cause severe joint pain, but not in the same joints it kinda travels around.she has been to an allergist but they put her on predisone and clarinex and zantec but as soon as the pred. is done the rash seems to rehash and the clarinex and othe meds seem not to help at all.
Avatar n tn I have been sick many times this spring due to training and my two young kids bringing home everything from school. I have had a cough for 3 months or so now that will not go away. It is triggered when I try to breathe deeply. I feel like I have something in my chest that needs to come up. I cough constantly during hard training efforts. I cough less when not training but it is still there.
Avatar n tn That should be done. Given that this has been going on for 6 months, it is probably time for you to have a CT scan of the lungs and/or a bronchoscopic exam. If your pulmonologist is unwilling to proceed with further testing, then yes you should seek a second opinion. Good luck.
Avatar m tn I’ve been sick for 3 months now. 27 y/o female, non-smoker, no history of asthma. It started in December as shortness of breath and a bad cough (with clear/yellow discharge). I originally went to an ambulatory care doctor. After hearing my symptoms, he decided that I had the virus that causes Walking Pneumonia and gave me some medicine. A week later, I was getting worse. I was having very labored breathing (with tightness in my chest).
Avatar n tn Combinations of drugs are made up of one or more anti-allergy medications that help simplify dosing and often will work either together for even more benefit or have counteracting side-effects that eliminate or reduce total side-effects. You can also try allergy shots or Immunotherapy. It would be good to discuss these options with your doctor. I hope this helps. Take care and keep us posted.
Avatar n tn Try stopping current contact lens if you have them, try an oral antihistamine like Zyrtec, Claritin, or Clarinex, try an allergy drop like Patenol, Pataday, or Elestat, find out if you have allergies by seeing an allergist, then control any allergens that you are exposed to, see an ophthalmologist to be evaluated for possible oculare allergies, and also to be checked out for dry eyes. Good Luck.
1136103 tn?1260667675 I take singulair, clarinex-d and lipo-flavonoid (for ringing in the ear) also the jelly or goo I am seeing happens almost everyday or every other day, every week is different.
Avatar f tn I went to my doctor when experiencing thick post nasal drip, dizziness, puffy eye and she diagnosed me with a sinus infection and put me on augmenten for 10 days. The mucus is now clear but the thick clear sticky post nasal drip is still chronic. I'm constantly snorting and spitting up mucus. I went to the ENT and he prescribed Nasonex and Mucinex. But it did not help. He then did a scope and found an abudnance of thick sticky mucus and he suctioned some of it out.
Avatar m tn I went to the doctor 8 months ago who said my ear drum was retracted and i was congested. He gave me some steroid spray for nose and some tablets for allergies as well as some antibiotics as my ear drum looked red. The meds made no difference. So here i am 8 months later tearing my hair out and racked with worry, anxiety and depression. I just want to feel normal again. Everydays a struggle and y life just feels wrecked by this problem :o( Thanks in advance, Shaun.
Avatar f tn Ok so I'm confused, I've heard from some people that you shouldn't put on heaters so much for babies because then if you go out of the room and it's cold or you go out somewhere and it's cold they are more likely to get sick so you you should just cover them up well with the weather.
Avatar m tn Had surgery 2 years ago and it helped for the first year but they grew back, going for blood allergy testing in 2 weeks and going to doctor for second opinion at John Hopkins. I cant smell, taste or breath through my nose, i'm miserable!! I would start shots and maybe look into a good ENT and get Cat scan done to see if you have issues with mucos membranes. Good luck!
345124 tn?1234483278 i finally saw a doctor today after a year of sinus and eustachian tube symptoms and off and on dizziness. mostly it was the spooky dizziness that made me want to see a doctor.
Avatar f tn I'm due in June and I was wondering if its okay to take the baby outside while its so hot? & if so for how long? & is there anything I should buy so the baby doesn't get sunburn or too hot? I don't wanna take him/her out if its not safe but I don't wanna be stuck inside all summer either.
Avatar f tn I taught my son to self sooth. I would put him in his crib for bed time and he'd cry for about 10-15 minutes I never let him cry longer than that. Then I'd go in and calm him down by talking to him and letting him know he's not alone then I'd walk out again. And I'd do this until he was so worn out from crying he'd fall asleep on his own.
