The only thing I can think of is I took an antibiotic (ciprofloxacin) for a sinus infection weeks ago. Other than that, nothing. This is driving me crazy.
A recent CT Scan showed a sinus infection. I know it has been going on for a very long long time. Probably close to a year. Is that possible if it just smolters, in a manner of speaking. I know I have complained for a very long time about having a constant headache, and is so painful when lying down, I would sleep, if I could, sitting up in a recliner for days at a time. Sinus dripping all the time, and also becoming more intense while sleeping, waking to clear my throat.
I have Hashimoto's and I am taking Synthroid, I went to another MD for an infection and informed him of all the medications I have been taking and that I had Hashimoto's, He put me on Ciprofloxacin (1 500mg Twice a day) for 10 days, He nor the Parmacy informed me that an interaction would be caused with my Thyroid medication, I found this out after the fact, I have pasted a link to the article here:

About 2 weeks ago i finished a 10 supply of Amoxicillin, 875mg every 12 hours prescribed for a sinus infection. By the last day I had terrible abdominal cramping. I had a swollen right testicle which was treated by ciprofloxacin 500g twice daily. The swelling went and the pain in the testicle reduced but then my left one started to hurt, is that conman for the infection to swap sides. I also have pain in my lower back and lower abdomen and very painful headaches. The doctor didn't seem to bothered about it or even check it over. I don’t think it is a reaction to ciprofloxacin, but could be an aggravation of the persisting infection. If it were a allergic reaction to the medicine it would be generalized, rather than local. If localized reaction is present that should be the site of injection. As you are on oral medication this is also not possible.

I've been taking Ciprofloxacin for about a week. On tuesday I went to the gym for the first time in a while, and for the past few days my shoulder muscles have been sore. I saw on the instructions with my medicine that there's a risk of tendonitis while taking Ciprofloxacin, is this something I should be worried about? I wouldn't have exercised that much if I had known. The soreness has been getting steadily better.
