cipro hc ear drops

He has pseudomonas in his ear and was getting the wrong treatment. He is now on cipro orally and tobramycin ear drops. Has anyone ever had this before and will the treatment work, will it go away or not and how long before the antibotics kicks in.

Prescribed me Augmentin 625mg co-amoxiclav and Gentisone HC ear drops + paracetamol to help me sleep. Why did he prescribe me Gentisone HC ear drops if he was not sure if my ear drum is perforated or not?? I could damage my ear if I use this and I could have a burst eardrum...besides the middle ear infection did I also get external infection?? I also hear a buzzing which never stops all day all night unless i talk to people and dont focus on it.

they are not fit to give people IMO. Side effects outweigh benefit. For your ear, I like to mix up some witch hazel with a couple of drops of tea tree oil and drop it in the ear. It burns a little, but not so bad when it has the witch hazel as straight tea tree. Do that once or twice a day and it will clean up bacteria and yeast, and any debris will side right out in days.

the pain never really cleared up and the day before i went back to the dr and got script for ear drops it was qute severe. she said she saw fluid in both ears but not enough to warrant the pain i felt and if the drops don't correct i may have to see an ent specialist and may require tubes. what is this procedure? I'm 46 and have never had a problem w/my ears before! i have no fluid coming out of them, have some slight dizziness.

It seems that no matter what I do, I cannot clear up his ear infections. I have tried antibiotics, ear drops, everything and they keep coming back. His ears smell terrible, which leads me to believe he is getting chronic yeast infections in his ears. What causes this and is there some alternative, perhaps herbal supplement I can give him since traditional medicine seems to be failing? My doc said it was Idk stuff on my ear drum or something. So he gave me Acetasol HC Ear Drops. They really helped alot. I still use them I'm like on my 7 bottle because I have a fungal infection in my ear. Yeah I know how gross is that. lol Later best of luck.

prescribed ZOTO-HC solution ear drops after sucking the fungal ball out. It is an antibacterial and antifungal agent. I keep all water out of my ear and it hasn't seemed to clog since. So far, so good. No pain since. I go back in a little over a week.

4 days after the exposure I went to the doc and got cipro for my ear. On day 9 I started taking the drug but have never gotten better which I am concerned. I easily kick these kinds of this with antibiotics. My 2 questions are is it typical to experience body aches without fever with ars? It routinely is said to be like the flu but my flus always came with fever. And the other is does ars render antibiotics useless during this time or did I just happen to catch a cipro resistant bug.

My rheumatologist confirmed that I am one of them, since I have gotten tremendous and long-lasting shoulder pain while on Cipro--and then a flareup later while using VIgamox, not yet understanding the possible connection. After only 1 week of taking HC I got ringing of the ears. Quit for a week and the ringing did not go away. Now I am taking Isocort and the ringing is still happening. Is this a coincidence or are the adrenal medications casuing this ear problem I feel stuffed up.

Then he told me to takeonly the CIPRO and double the Zyrtec. I am not any better today and my ear is turning purple. Should I go to dermatologist or should I get tested for allergies? I am not sure what to do anymore...

Perhaps you have some eczema in the earcanal (did the MD give cortisone drops?) I would be careful about putting any kind of cream into the ear, or anything for that matter. Some use olive oil drops as a home remedy.

Hi, I went to the doctors with tinnitus. She told me it was due to ear wax and would need syringing. So I've started ear drops (earex brand) in preparation. However these seem to have left the ear with a permanently blocked/head in a bucket feeling. Is this normal? Will it be fixed once syringed?
