Prior the the potential exposure, I was prescribed a topical nail fungus medication (ClearNails Pro) that is fat soluble and claims to penetrate to the nail bed. This medication contains a drug called ciclopirox which was recently discovered to kill hiv infected cells in vitro. The percentage of ciclopirox is 6 percent.
1. Since my fungal medication is fat soluble and contains ciclopirox, will it enter the blood stream in enough concentration to affect the accuracy of an hiv antibody test?

Most treatments are either systemic antifungal medications such as terbinafine and itraconazole, or topical such as nail paints containing ciclopirox or amorolfine. There is also evidence for combining systemic and topical treatments for effective results.
A 2002 study compared the efficacy and safety of terbinafine in comparison with placebo, itraconazole and griseofulvin in treating fungal infections of the nails.
t want to thin it out so much that you hit the nail bed. (blood and OUCH) Reducing the nail thickness will enable the cream/lotion/or paint on lacquer to saturate the nail better. This is not something I would advise on fingernails in fact its not something I'd advise at all under normal circumstances.
I am 43 years old and high school teacher, about 14 years, during a summer job I was spraying a white pigmented sanding lacquer and a white finish coat with lacquer retarder. I still have wavy vision from my surgery and slowly recovering.

There is a type of nail 'polish' you can buy that tastes horrible, to help people who bite their nails to stop doing so. You can buy that at almost any convenience store. You can also set a type of reward system for yourself to help. Put a picture of a pretty manicure on your wall and use it as a reminder to try to keep your nails looking nice. Once you have successfully grown out your nails and left them alone, treat yourself to a manicure.
Ya all the bathing things like a baby bath tub, baby towels, baby soap, diapers, lots of wipes, burp rags, bibs, baby spoons, baby bowls, bottles, bottle scrubber, baby lotion, baby q-tips, nail clippers, baby hats, bouncer, swing, crib, dresser....thats all i can think of rite now.
I was recently diagnosed with myopic degeneration in my right eye, and told that I have a lacquer crack in that eye. As for the nails, one can buy dog nail trimmers many places, including Walmart. The larger the dog, the larger the nails and the more strength it take to trip. One has to also be careful not to cut the nails too short..can cause bleeding, which can be stopped .... check dog nail trimming out on Youtube. Some dogs, maybe most, will fight back. A good natured dog will just try to pull the foot back.
The nail trimming will likely also suggest how to best stop bleeding if the wick is cut.
Is it bad I think the nail polish smells kinda good? Lol when I do them I just do it in a more open room for air to circulate.
Sounds like she had a lacquer crack with a resulting CNV and then Avastin injections to stop the bleeding. Depending on several factors, the damage to the retina may or may not be permanent. However I would suggest you get a second opinion as you seem a little in the dark here and it is not obvious from your post exactly what is going on here.

Its constantly waking him up in the middle of the night because he shoulder will start hurting and his hand go numb. He was saying that a friend of his had the same problems but it was from lacquer thinner poisoning. Im just wondering if maybe there is another problem or not.His left arm is just fine. This particular malady started life as what looked like a zit. I popped it, and it exploded into what looked like a simple bacterial infection. I treated it like any infected zit area (with neosporin and cleanliness), and it just got worse.
So I'm a ftm and I'm due Aug 17. I haven't started to do anything besides buy a crib,tub,stroller, car seat,some clothes,washcloths, socks and a breast pump that only takes breastflow bottles. Just asking what else do I really need?
I'd say a moses basket, bottle steriliser, I'd also buy some infacol for colic just in case. Baby nail clippers and soft brush :') just off the top of my head.
