Would the window period be affected by this medications ability to be absorbed throughout the skin and possibly into the bloodstream? 3. Can I feel comfortable with my current antibody test results?
Avatar n tn Most treatments are either systemic antifungal medications such as terbinafine and itraconazole, or topical such as nail paints containing ciclopirox or amorolfine. There is also evidence for combining systemic and topical treatments for effective results. A 2002 study compared the efficacy and safety of terbinafine in comparison with placebo, itraconazole and griseofulvin in treating fungal infections of the nails.

Besides getting lacquer on my hands about a dozen times I got it all over my arms, which I would wipe off with lacquer thinner and wash off with water and soap. Avatar n tn Hello Doctors, I am looking for an answer to a disturbing problem that hopefully this site can help get resolved. I have some very strange preciciment and have tried to solve myself, and asked a couple local docters with no answers. I have hoticed a weird white casing attached to 70% of my pubic hair. It isn't painful, just annoying and uncomfortable to deal with. The Two Doctors I have seen have been baffled.

Avatar f tn Do not take another one. If you threw it up, then you threw it up. It safer to just take a day off from prenatals rather than taking another one and possibly having to go to the hospital for to many minerals and vitamins .

Avatar m tn Sceral cross-linking is 10 years away according to the inventor of this technique following personal communication with him sometime ago, possibly sooner in Europe. I believe I wrote about this treatment on this very forum months ago. There are also recent studies suggesting it could lead to some problems in the retina as it is a fairly risky procedure so time will tell on that. I'm 50/50 on that one.

Avatar f tn Hello, everyone. I have had a rash on my chin (see picture) for about 5 months now. It started out on the right side of my chin. It would come and go randomly without treatment. About a year ago I had some seborrheic dermatitis around my nose and the derm prescribed me Ertaczo (an anti-fungal). That cleared up the rash right away. I went to my primary physician and showed him the rash on my chin mentioning that it looked similar to the rash I originally had around my nose.
