I too am having this problem. Tried Cialis and Viagra with no luck. My doctor told me to try a penis pump, apparently they're not dangerous if you use them right. I am currently using cialis 5mg for daily use. I used to get aroused normally while being sexually stimulated. But now i dont always get erection naturally. I have to massage the penis to get an erection, while i dont get any erection when performing foreplay with my partner. The erection even under medication is not hard enough to perform a satisfactory intercourse. I frequently urinate atleast 10 to 15 times a day, sometimes even more.
I have been using Cialis 10mg every other day for almost 1 year over the past 3-6 months I have been having trouble reaching a climax. After checking up on my other medications (Nexium and Benazepril 5mg) I have come to a conculsion that the problem is being caused by Cialis.

well I have been on daily or semi daily Cialis and it helps with erection but not really with duration.I can really only sustain it for around 2 minutes. I don't consider myself terribly out of shape but I will def work on some cardio . I had heard there are breathing techniques to help but that could get tricky trying to practice that in the heat of the moment.
lately I have had low libido too,, testosterone checked out normal so i'm at a loss.

I also got a Rx for generic Cialis for daily use, 5 mg (but I take only 1/2 = 2.5 mg). The prblm for me is, the ED Meds cause bad heartburn, usually the next day, so I have to take a pretty low dose that doesn’t produce a very firm erection, altho occasionally I have had erections that were firm enuf for intercourse, even w/ the low dose, so it’s a bit encouraging.
My Urologist prescribed Cialis 5mg for about a month. I started having really strong erections after taking it for the first 10 - 12 days but it just waned in the following days even though I was still taking the pills. ANY IDEAS WHY?

What dose of Cialis did your Dr. prescribe? I think 20 mg is the normal dose, but I think there's also a 10 mg dose, and these 2 are for 'one-time' or 'on-demand' use when you expect to have sex. Cialis has a much longer effect than Viagra or Levitra, up to 36 hr in some cases.
why can I not split my Cialis dose? I have lots of 20mg tablet but I found out that 5mg daily is better to keep from muscle atrophy happening.
Wishbone, if the 20 mg Cialis failed you , then you might try going to the daily 5 mg . It should work for you on a consistent basis.. One thing to remember is that you must take it every day. Now , I need to ask if you have visited a urologist on this matter yet? If not I would suggest you do so..
Because if Cialis and other meds fail to work - there could be valve issues in the penis where they will not hold the blood to maintain the erection even with heavy arousalment.
