I was on Celebrex 200 mg daily, my pain clinic dr also wants to add Cymbalta 30 mg for 7 days then 60 mg. My husband and I want to have children but are not activly trying at this point, it happens when it happens. I just want pain to stop or at least elevate more. SHould I take both together. My OB said it should be ok, My neuro dr said give it a try but pain clinic dr said don't. What should I do? I have taken it for 3 days now. I also have PCOS.

I also take xanax to sleep and had to lower my dose of that when i lowered the thyroid dose as the dose i was on then knocked me out a lot easier and left me groggy in the morning. I will feel the way I did when I woke up today, all day and into the night when I go to bed. I suppose now I will have to test again just to be sure, can't afford it but I feel so damned bad, it's the only way to know. to be honest I felt way better when my ft3 WAS 4.7!!!!

My doctor tried to get me to take Abilify....it wont take away "Hallucinations"....will it? I thought she was lying....so I never took it....let alone pick it up! Dear Doctor. Some days after start using Celebrex I noted a loss of vision in the central area of the vision in one eye. I cant read a letter that I was looking at, but I can see the letters in both sides of the letter I was looking. If I look with that eye to a white wall I can see a yellow circle sorrounding another smaller white circle.

I started on Celebrex on Sunday. I take it every afternoon at the same time. I have not noticed any difference. I had read that it should only take "a few days" for it to start working. I'm not sure how long I should give it? Admittedly, I was not happy to be starting it in the first place, so my gut reaction is to only give it a week, and stop it if it doesn't seem to be working. The thing that seems to be working the most is my nighttime dose of gabapentin.

I am prescribed Celebrex and skelaxin. I have a question about the skelaxin. Well my job is physically demanding I work in a hospital I do patient care I "boost" patients, transport patients, help very unsteady patients get out of bed and walk. My new doc then told me to take VitD3 5000U daily = 35000 PER WK.

Fluconazole is an antifungal and one pill stays in the blood stream for 3 days. It is normal to take a 'loading dose' the first time which helps get a jump start on the infection. I would take it as the doctor directed. Hope this helps.

He gets an injection every 2-3 weeks as needed....I never wait a month as then you have lost the effect of the loading dose.....However, there are many that give it at 5-6 weeks faithfully & it seems to work...Again, each dog is different.... My Vet sells me the liquid Adequan and Syringes....I give the injections myself...This saves a tremendous amount of money!!!! I buy about 10 doses at a time for around $50..... Most Vets are willing to do this for their clients......

As Karen was saying this SAME type of Drug was removed from the market a couple or three years ago BUT they left Celebrex. I take a VERY high dose of it BECAUSE my Arthritis is so bad and my Cardiologist is FINE with it. I take 400 mgs a day. That's one pill in the morning and one pill at night. I hope that you will be able to try it. I think that you will need more help than JUST the Celebrex though. However, REMEMBER I'm NOT a Doctor.

Hello I'm going to be having 3 stents inserted into my arteries in a couple of weeks time. My specialist (who will be carrying out the procedure) has asked me to take 600mg of clopigdogrel and 600mg of asprin the night before the procedure, and I'm a bit worried about doing this. One of my main complaints with the fibro is the debilitating fatigue. I try to plan doing something on weekend, and by the time the weekend comes, it's all I can do to do the laundry and groc shopping. Then sit the rest of the day doing nothing. Being on 1600IU suddenly failed to improve my level after years of being on 800IU. Ranges: (75 adequate) To 49 nmol/L, what it is now. Should it be higher than this? Thank you.

I was on other meds, Celebrex, Skelaxin and am off of all except Neurontin. I have tapered the Neurontin to 500mg/day. This question is related to side effects that may be due to Neurontin or maybe my migraines. When I was on a higher dose of Neurontin I was getting almost daily visual disturbances in both eyes that looked like what my migraine auras look like but those are in one eye and are followed by a headache.

No, it would be unheard of for Celebrex to damage your heart valve. Celebrex and similar drugs do cause high blood pressure in many individuals, though. You might have gone forever and not known about the heart valve if you had not gotten high blood pressure from the Celebrex. Follow whatever advice the cardiologist gave you, and don't worry.

I never had high blood sugar but recently after a 10 day course of celebrex for an inflamed shoulder muscle my fasting blood sugar shot up to 137. I read that celebrex has this side effect. Is it reversible?
