She is 64 but she also has osteoporosis and arthritis in her lower back. The back doctor just prescribed Celebrex, is this the safest drug for her? Also what should people with Hep C do to better care for their liver eventhough so far she seems to have a healthy liver. For the osteoporosis she is on Fosamax. She has been on it for several years. I am just afraid that too many potent drugs can be harmful for her liver.

Well, my mom was on the Celebrex for only two days. She felt very ill on the Celebrex and went off the Celebrex by herself as it was making her symptoms worse.

When this happens my eye streams constantly for two or more hours and the pain is relieved by taking 2 celebrex tablets. By morning my eye is sore but all day it feels dry and rather rough. Do you have any idea what the problem is? It will drive me crazy if it continues much longer. Keith.

I have chronic pain and Nucynta was working well for me. However, I'm a new RN and cannot take narcotics, so I have so switch medications. I am attempting to switch from Nucynta (50 mg 6x/day) to Celebrex (200mg 3x/day). My doctor didn't give me any advice for tapering off one to another. Any advice on how to do that?
