I had lumbar spine fusion six weeks ago and am in PT. Still some pain so am taking 3 Ultracet tabs per 24 hours with pretty good pain relief except following 30 minutes on the treadmill and various muscle building exercises and stretches. To calm down those muscles following exercises and stretches I would like to take one 200mg Celebrex daily but one drug interaction cite suggests "Moderate" drug-drug issue involving CYP450 2D6, which means nothing to me.
I have been on methotrexate and celebrex for at least 15 years, probably long. I am currently in a tremendous amount of pain in my fingers, elbows, shoulders, left knee and left hip. Volteran gel has not helped at all and neither has Aleve. Can I take tramadol with these two drugs? I have recently switched my insurance and am waiting to get into a new rheumatologist.
I took Celebrex for several years for joint pain due to Crohn's. I keep having bowel obstructions so I went to a new dr. He told me to stop taking the Celebrex and start taking a tylenol everyday. I have not had any more obstructions but I do still have some joint pain.
You need to talk to your doctor about your anger, and probably a pharmacist would be better since knowledge of drug interactions are in their scope of practice. If you're taking suboxone for opiate detox, your increased anger may only be a result of detox rather than a drug interaction. The brain rebels when the opiate receptors aren't completely filled, resulting in some odd and often very scary mental symptoms.
This morning the pain is still there as is some slight nausea though I was able to eat something. Does anyone know of drug interactions between Anacin and Progesterone? Is there something else it could be?
