celebrex and yeast infection

1.) In your opinion, can this yeast infection be passed back and forth between my wife and I? 2.) Besides taking this medicine, what else can I do to combat this? Just to be thorough, here are some of my regular practices: I work for a liquor company so I enjoy a cocktail or two every evening, I enjoy my Copenhagen, I take Ranitadine daily for reflux and heart burn, my diet is rather indulgent, I am taking Celebrex for another matter and I am a bit out of shape.

Has anyone taken an NSIAD(like Ibuprofen or Celebrex) after being treated for GERD or H. Pylori infection? I recently injured my back and a Pain Management specialist said I could possible take Celebrex to help with the inflammation.

She is 64 but she also has osteoporosis and arthritis in her lower back. The back doctor just prescribed Celebrex, is this the safest drug for her? Also what should people with Hep C do to better care for their liver eventhough so far she seems to have a healthy liver. For the osteoporosis she is on Fosamax. She has been on it for several years. I am just afraid that too many potent drugs can be harmful for her liver.

Once your inflammation dissipates and you stop taking Celebrex everything should return to normal, that is, if you didn't have high morning glucose levels previously. IMHO.

I don't think it should be an issue, I took Celebrex and Morphine for an extended time with no issue. Ask your doctor about any concerns though.

s safe to take for a yeast infection/other infections throughout your pregnancy. I had a yeast infection a couple times while pregnant, and I took the cream from the pharmacy that was prescribed. It's best, IMO, to get it properly diagnosed as it could be a different vaginal infection (unless you're positive it's yeast) and get it treated. At the very least, your doctor can advise you on what brand/type to take OTC.

Has anyone used Celebrex for their Crohn's? I have severe joint point pain and I have been told that Celebrex is a huge help for this. I am wondering about side effects and medicine interactions.

my gi didnt even know the dose to celebrex so i doubt he knows if its good to my liver! im telling yall hes stupid and i need to find a new dr asap!

Hey Hopey. I was just prescribed Celebrex too!! I'm very anxious to see how well it helps b/c i have constant back pain and have tried several meds that haven't given ANY relief. I started the Celebrex today, 600 mgs. And will take 400 mgs/day after today. The dr DID say it can take a few days to start feeling relief from it.

I have been on methotrexate and celebrex for at least 15 years, probably long. I am currently in a tremendous amount of pain in my fingers, elbows, shoulders, left knee and left hip. Volteran gel has not helped at all and neither has Aleve. Can I take tramadol with these two drugs? I have recently switched my insurance and am waiting to get into a new rheumatologist.

A few months later, my wife complains of a yeast infection. She goes to the doctor and they give her tests for yeast infections. They also give her a prescription for terconazole vaginal cream. Im guessing its a yeast infection. The antibiotics they put you on for BV can cause yeast infections. I have had BV three times so far with this pregnancy. I up my yogurt intake dramatically when Im on the antibiotics and luckily haven't had a yeast infection.

t really that affective for me but my insurance made me try practically every NSAID on the market before they would approve Celebrex. They denied Celebrex and even recommended a PPI (ulcer med) to take with the NSAID's because they didn't want to pay for Celebrex. After they denied me 4 or 5 times, they finally approved it. So now I take 400mg of Celebrex a day and it's a lot more effective than any other NSAID i've been on.

Everytime we have sex I get irritable and land up with an yeast infection. I have this unbareable itch. It has ruined my sex life. I got diagnosed with a yeast infection yesterday. Didn't get a chance to get the medicine picked up from the pharmacy until today. Tonight I had some pink blood when I wipe. Could that be a side effect of the yeast infection? I'm 14 weeks with my 4th and have never had spotting with other pregnancies. Doctor is closed tomorrow so can't call to ask.

I got a yeast infection after taking the antibiotics I was prescribed so make sure if you get symptoms of a yeast infection you call your doctor

Let your OB know because many times its hard to tell the difference between bacterial vaginosis and a yeast infection.

I'm pretty sure it is a yeast infection. The liquid part of my cm is watery and there are pits of solid pieces that look like ricotta cheese. No yeast smell tho and no obvious itching or anything. Last cycle at first I just ignored it thinking it was just a change in my cm.. at the time it was still white and creamy but had the pieces mix in it.. then it got worse.. more like it is right now.. watery with ricotta clumps... sorry TMI..

Some inflammatory process is going on, maybe from infection, and that causes lymph node enlargement and also causes the shoulder blade to pop because the connective tissue is inflamed.
