I have been taking pain medication and celebrex. All of which helps. But I am very activity in sports and I work out 3 to 4 days a week. When I work out and play volleyball I always feel better. I am a Administrative Assistant and I work on the computer all the time, so I am sitting alot. I have to think that maybe that hurts me. I am looking for a good Doctor at Baylor University Hospital in Dallas, Texas. I will let you know what happens.

I think that the benadryl would be fine. it seems that they are recommended by most Dr. the nurofen I am not familiar with, check with your local pharmacist they are an excellent source of information, and they do not charge you....
I don't think it should be an issue, I took Celebrex and Morphine for an extended time with no issue. Ask your doctor about any concerns though.
My two daughters take Celebrex as a person would take Advil here or there and do fine with it .. they both cannot take ibuprofen. My son cannot take it since birth as he gets bad reflux from in ..
They make custom made ibuprofen suppositories if you really need a NSAID but cannot do it by mouth and they are wonderful .. you need a compounding pharmacy but my co pay was only $8.00!
Has anyone used Celebrex for their Crohn's? I have severe joint point pain and I have been told that Celebrex is a huge help for this. I am wondering about side effects and medicine interactions.
She is 64 but she also has osteoporosis and arthritis in her lower back. The back doctor just prescribed Celebrex, is this the safest drug for her? Also what should people with Hep C do to better care for their liver eventhough so far she seems to have a healthy liver. For the osteoporosis she is on Fosamax. She has been on it for several years. I am just afraid that too many potent drugs can be harmful for her liver.
Hey Hopey. I was just prescribed Celebrex too!! I'm very anxious to see how well it helps b/c i have constant back pain and have tried several meds that haven't given ANY relief. I started the Celebrex today, 600 mgs. And will take 400 mgs/day after today. The dr DID say it can take a few days to start feeling relief from it.
I have been on methotrexate and celebrex for at least 15 years, probably long. I am currently in a tremendous amount of pain in my fingers, elbows, shoulders, left knee and left hip. Volteran gel has not helped at all and neither has Aleve. Can I take tramadol with these two drugs? I have recently switched my insurance and am waiting to get into a new rheumatologist.
t really that affective for me but my insurance made me try practically every NSAID on the market before they would approve Celebrex. They denied Celebrex and even recommended a PPI (ulcer med) to take with the NSAID's because they didn't want to pay for Celebrex. After they denied me 4 or 5 times, they finally approved it. So now I take 400mg of Celebrex a day and it's a lot more effective than any other NSAID i've been on.
I am on day 5 of c/t from Nurofen plus, 30 a day for about a year. omg i thought i was going to die today. Does it get better yet?
I am a single mother of 2 beautiful boys and become so depressed dont feel like getting out of bed and just want to sleep my life away. My question is once I have stopped taking these horrible pills, what do I do about my restless legs as it makes me feel like ripping my limbs off. Iv tried all the medication for it but nothing helps.

What worries me even more than the various opiates is the amount of Nurofen you are taking.
The maximum dose is 3 x 600mg per day. Ibuprofen (the main constituent of Nurofen) is a strong acid, and I'm amazed you haven't burned a hole in your stomach yet. In that kind of quantity they could also cause liver or kidney damage.
Hi i got a problem with taking nurofen plus I just Can't stop and the more I try the harder it is. I take around 6 to 10 a day and I now feel I really count on them to get me through the day. Really what I want to know is if I stop cold turkey will I go through all the bad withdrawals and how long will they last?
I don't take them to get high. I started taking them because I get really bad headaches but now I got the headaches sorted out I feel like I still need nurofen.

Does anyone take celebrex?I started Prozak last week and they want me to take celebrex too. They say my liver can take it, (stage 2 fibrosis). But I am afraid of the NSAIDs in celebrex, any one else taking it? Oh, I am on Methadone too. I am having my first liver biopsy in the morning, so I will find out more about my liver. I am scared to death about it coz I have had so many problems lately.
No, it would be unheard of for Celebrex to damage your heart valve. Celebrex and similar drugs do cause high blood pressure in many individuals, though.
You might have gone forever and not known about the heart valve if you had not gotten high blood pressure from the Celebrex. Follow whatever advice the cardiologist gave you, and don't worry.
I was in a car crash last april and have a right shoulder injury and neck pain. I had 12 weeks of physio after and had my last session in dec. I have been ok since unitl two weeks ago.I have the pain back again. I was studying for my mock exams and doing a lots of writting could this have made it worse? please help! I am worried because i am doing my real exams in may. I am in alot of pain and scared to go to doctor because he might tell me I cann't do my exam.
Do you think if I get sleeping tabs Ill be able to get off the nurofen + and what are the chances of me getting addicted to those. I live in South Africa there is no valium here, herbel remedies do nothing, havnt asked the doc yet as these visits are very expensive here,any advice would be great, just cant make it through the night without this poison?
