Go and take him to be checked out by your Doctor for reasurrance especially as you have some knowledge.
I took a 10 panel std test prior to the test I was taking Cefdinir although I stopped taking it 5 days before testing would the cefdinir affect the results which were negative.
Now have a possible sinus infection and doctor gave me Cefdinir. Two days into the medication, my neuropathy symptoms have increased. The burning, needle like sensations and numbness. I do not want to go through that nightmare again. So I stopped taking the antibiotic and am waiting to hear from my doctor for an alternative drug. Is this considered an allergic reaction or a severe symptom. Anyway to know which antibiotics I can use and not have this reaction.
m doing. the supplements enhance the effectiveness of the antibiotics and the 2nd antibiotic (cefdinir) is to go after the lyme. we know there is nothing here to treat the cyst form of lyme but the Dr. didn't want to put me on any more medicines at this time.

for the last couple of days i have had really bad vertigo wether I am standing or sitting, feels kinda like I am drunk all day long, and really spiking my anxiety. I was put on cefdinir but have not even been on it a full 24 hours yet. I was wondering two things. is the vertigo/dizziness normal with these infections and how long until I can expect some relief from this medication?
I took an antibiotic called cefdinir for about a week and I think augmentin for like a day?
-- Biaxin (clartihromycin) and Omnicef (cefdinir) for Lyme.
However, I have seen references in various places online to Flagyl being used against babesia. If you search "babesiosis flagyl" you'll find what I did.

As to what you need to do to treat your child, that can only be given to you by your Doctor.
This is a clinical standard rule in pediatrics. Ibuprofen or acetometophin are recommended. Discuss dosage info with Pharmacist or Pediatrician and how to treat for breakthrough pain.
Additionally, warm baths, stretching or heating pad.
The diagnosis of growing pains is generally not recommended until other conditions are ruled out. It is supposed to be a diagnosis of exclusion.
Does your granddaughter respond to touch when in pain? (does massage, cuddling, touching help?
I was not tested again for strep but was given cefdinir. I realize I am only day 3 but my throat hurts worse than it did to begin with. I'm having trouble swallowing and have a consistent stabbing pain in my throat. I'm curious if anyone else has had similar symptoms or knows if this could be a continuation of strep or something else.
I just had first root canal #14 through dental crown. Endodonist said there was pus -- infection. I have had allergic reaction to Levaquin and AzitheraI and have had side effects diarrhea and lightheaded from Cefdinir and Cephalexin so he prescribed Cipro 500mg. Said he doesn't usually prescribe but given that it have taken Cipro 250mg in the past (or urinary tract infection with no side effects. Is Cipro as effective as other antibiotics for dental infection?
lol Just a few weeks ago when I took my son to the doctor, his doc.( Dana Ankney, Forest Park Pediatrics) told me that it was okay to feed him eggs and he was barely six months. As long as the eggs are cooked and you're feeding him so he doesn't choke, he's fine.

Was salt/sodium-loading recommended in addition to the pushing of fluids, or have you just been increasing her water intake but not her electrolyte (esp. sodium) intake along with it? (I mean, prior to this appointment, with regard to what may have led to the weight loss.) Is the new cardiologist recommending salt- and fluid-loading along with the fludrocortisone?

my beautiful little Ellie Rose made her appearance yesterday at 39 weeks and 1 day , 29th of August at 4:57pm weighing 7.3 pounds and 19 inches. I'm a female and 5 days after giving oral sex to a male I came down with a sore throat and puss pockets went to dr and was put on z pack. That didn't clear it so I was put on cefdinir pus pockets are gone and my throat is no longer sore, however I have whitish grey flat patches in my throat on both sides just behind my back teeth. 2nd dr I went to tested me and I tested positive for yeast she gave me Nystatin for 10 days and patches are still there.
