Have you started tapering down your dosage per your doctor's instructions? Just make sure you are not adjusting dosage or quitting it without talking to your doctor first; just ensure you follow his/her instructions. Doing it on your own can cause many unpleasant symptoms that you would not really have to endure if you take it as prescribed.
I took a 10 panel std test prior to the test I was taking Cefdinir although I stopped taking it 5 days before testing would the cefdinir affect the results which were negative.
Now have a possible sinus infection and doctor gave me Cefdinir. Two days into the medication, my neuropathy symptoms have increased. The burning, needle like sensations and numbness. I do not want to go through that nightmare again. So I stopped taking the antibiotic and am waiting to hear from my doctor for an alternative drug. Is this considered an allergic reaction or a severe symptom. Anyway to know which antibiotics I can use and not have this reaction.
He probably will increase your dosage but never do this on your own, follow his instructions. They normally will start you out on a low dosage, see if it helps, and if not they either increase it or switch medications. Always work closely with your doctor on your medications. Take care.
Tylenol is unveiling new maximum dosage instructions for paracetamol or acetaminophen in the US. The new instructions state a maximum total daily of 3,000 mg versus the old maximum of 4,000 mg. Additionally, it states to take the over the counter dosage every 6 hours instead of every 4 to 6 hours. m doing. the supplements enhance the effectiveness of the antibiotics and the 2nd antibiotic (cefdinir) is to go after the lyme. we know there is nothing here to treat the cyst form of lyme but the Dr. didn't want to put me on any more medicines at this time.
my mother (77yrs.of age) has been taking 10mg lexapro for general depression and body aches. Today, the physician said he wanted to give her something that would make her feel more "perky" and changed her script to 150mg Effexor. The instructions are to take 1 pill/day and to stop the lexapro. From my reading it seems that these meds should be weaned.

Oh, I'd call your doctor or talk to the pharmacist. The proper dosage is often written on a bottle for a child when prescribed. Is it not there? If this is someone else's medicine, I wouldn't do that. Every two year old needs their own prescription of medicine.
As much of a pain as it may be, it seems like you're going to have to schedule an appointment with your doctor. Ask him what it says in your records about the dosage. It sounds like the nurses are under the impression that your medicine should last 30 days. Your chart may have notes that say that, while the actual prescription doesn't. The dosage instructions make it very unclear as to how long the prescription should last.
s my sinus..I went to the dr the other day and I told him bout what was going on and he gave me cefdinir 300mg capsule and I been on them for 3 days and tonight I'm hurting really badly I have never been in so much pain and when I cough it hurts..does anyone know what this could be??
So my doc prescribe me fluconazole for a yeast infection I'm currently 30wks pregnant, when I picked it up it had 2 little packets in it with one pill each and doc says to take 1 a day but as I'm reading the instructions it says 1pill clears everything and you only need a 1time dosage. Do I take both pills or just one why would he prescribe me 2 if directions clearly state 1? Any ladies ever had to take for yeast infection while preggo what did your doc prescribe?
for the last couple of days i have had really bad vertigo wether I am standing or sitting, feels kinda like I am drunk all day long, and really spiking my anxiety. I was put on cefdinir but have not even been on it a full 24 hours yet. I was wondering two things. is the vertigo/dizziness normal with these infections and how long until I can expect some relief from this medication?
