The doctor prescribed him a prescription for lotions and creams. In between baths I use Aveeno. I wash his hair in free and clear medicated shampoo. My son is 8yrs old had since he been born. My neices also have it. I do not use any scented products on him at all not even to wash his clothes. He wears medicated deodorant.

Be careful of bathwater Temps and soaps my daughter sweats and it breaks out but I can't stop that she's a kid so I have to keep a close eye on it! Does someone in ur fam have it also??? Cause most of the time is passed down! Ask and see how they managed! Vinager in the bathwater will sooth the itch and redness!

In this case is hydracortisone valerate (for itching and inflamation) the appropriate medication? Is this type of rash more typical of something else? In your case however, the nail maintains its normal appearance. However the lesion (allow me to call it lesion) has been present for quite sometime already. Nail infections caused by fungi o psoriatic lesions may not require prolonged treatment .As in the case of a fungal infection, this may require oral medical therapy for at least 6 weeks.
