873325 tn?1295461896 I checked her this morning and she was 73. She takes 4 tablespoons of cornstarch at night before bed, to keep her sugars up while she sleeps. The geneticist said that it should keep her above 80 over night. It is wierd. Sometimes when I think she would be high, or low, her numbers are fine.... and when I think there is no problem or symptoms, she is high or low. I don't know.

If you add fruit, once again you need to figure out the carbs and remember that a portion would be 1/2 of a banana or 1/4 c. of berries. The way most people eat their cereal, they are easily consuming over 100 gms. of carbs in one bowl!!!! The most you should have per meal is 45-60 gms. But it could easily be something else... you may have picked up some germ while swimming or using a public bathroom. Please trust your parents, you may need to see a doctor and get something better than cornstarch.
