carb, 1 protein. For dinner I get 3 veggies, 1 fruit, 3 starch, 4 protein, 3 fat. Bedtime snack I get 1 milk, 1 carb, 1 protein. It's a lot of food. I found salads worked well and I combined a lot of my food that way. Also1 serving of milk = 12 ggrams of carb, 1 serving of fruit = 15 grams of carb, breads and starch = 15 grams of carb.
