118074 tn?1228329003 That I dont remember for sure, but I think my doc said they were fine. Try the halls strawberry flavor, they taste good and they work.
Avatar f tn My 4 year old has developed a pretty nasty cough for the past 3 days, and everything I have in my house doesn't seem to be helping him. I have tried Triaminic Cold and Cough, which didnt work, and then Robitussin DM for cough and chest congestion, which isn't working either. He can't take childrens mucinex because it makes him vomit. Do any of you mommies know what I can possibly try that can help his cough? He isn't running a fever, or have any other symptoms.
Avatar f tn Vitamin C drops and tea with lemon decaf tea that is
Avatar f tn d rather be safe than sorry.
Avatar f tn Halls are fine to use, Tylenol cold products are fine to use, Vitamin C, and any none DM Robitussin products. Just take the amount it recommends you take, and no more than 4,000 mg of Tylenol a day. Feel better soon!

Avatar n tn For colds you can take robitussin and robitussin DM. And cough drops. But ginger tea is good too. Cut some fresh ginger and boil it in water for a few min and add lemon and honey. Try and get lots of rest. Hope this helps.
869568 tn?1248372915 Hello! I have had a cold for the past 4 weeks and did not want to take anything. Well, I was sick and tired of being sick so my doctor told me to take plain Sudafed and Robetussen DM and see if it helps. When they finally kick in, it works. I just wondered, though, has anyone else taken these meds while pregnant?
Avatar n tn What has helped me a little was some robitussin DM non alcohol and cough drops for coughing and congestion, and as for nasal congestion linden leaves tea has helped but not completely, hope this helps!
Avatar f tn I started the meds approximately a week ago. I was told the Phen would give me all of this energy and that the Metformin would keep me in the bathroom a lot until my body adjusted, but I have had neither really. The first couple of days on the Phen I had a boost of energy, which I loved, but it quickly faded. I am now constantly tired, no matter how much sleep I get. From what I've researched fatigue can be a side effect of both medicines.
Avatar f tn Halls my ob said rubotosin DM is OK to drink
338963 tn?1253660822 What seemed to help a lot with the sore throat were those Vitamin C drops (Halls makes them) or Ludens throat drops... those are safe, as well as cough drops. If it starts getting really bad though, your OB will probably advise that you go to your regular doctor. Hope you feel better soon... I've been sick twice so far this pregnancy and I was miserable.
Avatar f tn I was told by my doctor robutussin dm has to be the dm and non drowsy. They suggest not taking airborne. And cough drops are fine. I got nailed with a head cold then turned to bronchitis!
Avatar f tn What do you mom's take for a nasty cold?

666089 tn?1260520261 as for cough, cough drops and robitusin dm, drink oj and try vit c drops the vit c will boost your immune system to fight the cold. if you get stuffed up saline spary or vicks vapor rub, the dr does not recomend talking muliti symptom medician in the first trimester can cause birth defect or other problems. i have a horrible cold right now, i use tylonal for the fever, afrin no drip for my sinus, cough drops for my cough. hope you feel better really soon if your not better already.
Avatar f tn I am currently 21 weeks pregnant, and i have a cold that I have had for about a month, I have been taking vitamin c drops but nothing is happening, and some old ladies I know said that this could cause my cervix to open, and thus cause a miscarriage because of the coughing. I want to know is this true??????? just to give you a general idea, I have a runny nose, bad cough, but not a dry one, I have no fever, no sor throat and nothing else. what should I do?????????????
Avatar f tn A friend lost 30lbs on phen without exercise and I cant even lose 5lbs. In the beginning of the year I did the HCG drops and lost 20lbs in a month, my brother also did the HCG and lost 35lbs. Everyone says the closer you are to your normal weight the harder it gets, is it true? Anything new I can try? please let me know!
7801614 tn?1401768235 As long as you're well into your 2nd trimester, tylenol cold, sugar free Robitussin dm, mucinex dm, sudafed, and sugar free cough drops are okay. I'm sick too and I'm taking tylenol cold and using saline spray.
Avatar n tn Eat things with lots of garlic in it, plus get loads of vitamin C and get into the sun for a bit, itl help your body fight the cough.
