Hi, my busband as done a test on semen analysis recently. Everything was fine, except for the Morphology. The details are as follows:
Volume: 4.0 ml
Count: 105 million/ml
Motility: 95%
Morphology: 60% (The reference stated in the report is = or >70
I searched the Wikipedia and I am confused about two points. The quote is as below. My questions are
1) it appears that based on WHO, the reference point is 30%. But why is it that the standard stated on my hushand's report is 70.
The HIV test was Abbott HIV Ag/Ab test and it came back negative. However the OD value or the S/Co value was pretty high and very close to the gray zone. It was 0.66. I tested many times at this lab before due to previous exposures and the rsult was never higher than 0.35. Why is my result higher this time? Could I be seroconverting but not enough antibodies are present to produce the reactive result?I am very worried doctor..cold I be seroconverting?

I wish we knew what the brand of test was and the numerical value (including decimal points) of your test result. As I said, a value of 406 is not a value I am used to seeing with type-specific tests and worries my about the test. on the other hand, a value of 4.06 (note the decimal point) is helpful and would be strong information that you indeed have HSV and making the question where did you get it.
