The last time was on February 3rd. On february 16th I had fatigue, coughing, runny nose, and was diagnosed with a sinus infection. I was given antibiotics for it and I thought it went away. This past weekend it returned, this time with swollen glands!! The doctor took blood and did a throat culture, in case I had strep or mono. Neither was present.
I have a bunch of symptoms that im afraid may indicate something serious. blotchy rash on my neck, chest palms and groin; loss of sensation and discoloration of my penis; cold sweats; constipation and difficulty urinating w no pain involved. I've had a sinus infection and ear infection for sometime now but just started taking biaxin yesterday. Not much improvement..could I have some kidney or liver issues due to years of cocaine abuse?
just one last point, the biaxin and amoxicilian were taken at different times around 2-3 months apart. Biaxin was for a Resp infection and the amoxicilian was for my saliva gland issue. These all have been taken throughtout the last year since exposure. Would Biaxin or amoxicial cure syphlis by themselves?. no more questions from me so I would like to thank you for your time!.
If I was infected with any of the above, would an 8 day course of Biaxin resolved these? And yes it was 8 days and not the usual 10 for whatever reason.
2. I've read on this site that most of these STD's resolve themselves within a few months even without treatment, but other medical and government websites specifically say the exact opposite and say only way to get rid of infection is to seek treatment. Which is it?
Because my bronchitis had gone away only to develop into a sinus infection, I was prescribed Doxy 100mg / 2x / day for five days, which I took religiously according to instructions.
Now, 2 weeks after appearing, the bump is still there. Foolishly I keep squeezing it; on the days when I don't it shrinks with a (closed, not ulcerous head). I'm going to leave it alone from now on, but here is my question finally:

The lesion healed within a week or so and we never thought anymore of it. Recently she had a sinus infection and was given a Tri-Pak of Azithromycin. She HATES taking medicine so the doctor told her she could take all three pills at once if she wanted but he didn't suggest it. Well she did. For some reason the lesion and my oral sex episode has really been bothering me. I have been tested after that exposure and all tests were negative.
May I also ask what length of time would I take the Biaxin? And is there any home treatment, Like garlic pills etc. that would help augment healing? ( since Biaxin is not considered the best treatment.) Although I'm stuck with that. And frankly, I was on the Clindamycin for weeks and that didn't get rid of the infection, so maybe a broad spectrum antibiotic will work for me. I sure hope so. thank you again for your advice.
Mild mucosal thickening at the inferior left maxillary sinus and minimal degree of mucosal thickening of the superomedial left maxillary sinus. There is a tiny focus within the anterior right sphenoid sinus and the posteromedial left frontal sinus.

This morning i wake with the symptoms of a UTI and i have only been off the antibiotic for ONE day ... Is this a totally separate problem, and do i have to go back on the antibiotic? Please help!
I just moved to Denver from Chicago. Right before we left, I could tell I had a sinus infection, as I have a long history of sinus issues. I also have stomach issues, history of a couple ulcers. A couple of ENT's have told me I have obvious signs of GERD, though I don't often have indigestion, sometimes I can taste acid in the morning. Anyway, I saw a doc when I arrived in Denver and she gave me Biaxin for the sinus infection. Only it doesn't seem to have cleared up.
Then when i get done with my medication i start to cough,and wheeze again.why does this keep happiening? I just want to get better and get off of these meds.i can't even have a good time without having a cough attack in front of everyone it's very imbarressing.It's the holiday's and i just want to have fun. I had 2 women perform oral sex on me and about 2-3 months later I had a chest cold and my doctor gave me biaxin 2x500mg a day for 10 days. then a few months later had amoxicillian 3x500mg a day for 10 days for another unrelated infection (my docs loves to give antibiotics) If I did get a std like gonnerea or clymidia or anything else that is bacterial would the biaxin get rid of it?...keep in mind I have had no unprotested sexual intercourse just received oral from a women.
On that Tuesday, I went to the doctor and was diagnosed with Bronchitis and a sinus infection. WBC was 15000. I received a Rocephin and Decadron injection and was placed on Biaxin for 10days. I still have a low grade temp (not less than 99.4) and also have joint pain and night sweats. I went to my gynecologist for my yearly checkup and told him all this and he drew another CBC. Last week I was diagnosed with a duodenal ulcer and am taking Amoxicillin, Biaxin and Prevacid. I am one week into treatment and feel only marginally better.
My question is about stomach tenderness. Is a tender stomach normal with a peptic ulcer? My entire stomach area, from just below my breasts, down to my navel, is very tender to the touch. When touched it produces like a burning/stinging/bruised feeling. Depending on the day, or time of the day, the pain is greater or less.

I recently went back to the doctor and i am on Biaxin, it cleared my sinus infection, but i have 1 day left on these pills, and my throat still has all the same problems. I was looking online and i have ALL the symptoms of Larynx Cancer, now im REALLY worried, does anyone have any advice about this, i get paranoia really badly. I have a allergy test of june 27 (i don't think that is the problem), and ultra sound tests on July 6 for my throat.
