betaseron

Avatar f tn Ok.. so I have been having some random symptoms of pregnancy lately such as extremely sore\tender breasts, fatigue, and now.. 2 weeks b4 my period is supposed 2 stat I am bleeding.. at first it was just like spotting but now its aot like a period (as of today). I am on betaseron and I didn't know if it could mess with your period like tha or make your breasts sore.. (fatigue is a normal ms symptom tho so that doesn't concern me except its been worse lately). Plus..
721523 tn?1331581802 He did warn me about the miscarage risk. The last visit, he said to get off Betaseron 1 month before ttc. The BetaPlus nurse said give it two months. My husband and I discussed this. The current plan is to get off the Betaseron at the end of next week. That would be 2 wks in to the last pack of bc pills. We are planning to use alternate methods of bc for the next cycle. That would put me off of Betaseron 8 wks prior to the hoped for conception, and off the bc pills for 6 wks.
Avatar f tn The manufacturer of products containing ribavirin (Schering Corp.) maintains a registry for pregnancy-related exposures in females and males. If pregnancy occurs in a patient or partner of a patient during treatment or the 6 months after treatment cessation, patients or their clinicians can call (800) ***-****. A separate Ribavirin Pregnancy Registry can be contacted at (800) ***-****, or online http://www.****.com. Best of luck to you!
233622 tn?1279334905 I have been off of Betaseron for about 2 weeks now and my eyes are back to being very uncomfortable. Before I started Avonex eye pressure and pain was a huge problem. Now it is is starting again.
233622 tn?1279334905 m not on betaseron, but am glad to hear you are making a change to see if you can find a combination to slow your MS. Getting the new MRI done on the stronger machine is so important for your baseline... it will give your new neuro a good view as to where you are coming from. And you're right, it might show where you have new damage that is causing your changes.
Avatar f tn Babylist is an app and website that is a universal registry. You can add anything from any store to it! Start a registry as soon as you get pg so you can add stuff as you think of it.
280482 tn?1262960714 Call MS Lifelines (the Rebif nurses) now. I think Rebif is contraindicated in pregnancy. If you don't have their number handy, find it on their website. Congratulations!! First baby?
2032869 tn?1333989114 I included everything that I liked and if you need to exchange or return anything its hassel free because they go off your registry. I used it with my first pregnancy. You can also register to more than one store. I included target, and walmart as well.
Avatar f tn I am so very glad and thankful I have friends throwing my baby shower but now one of them texted me and told me they don't think I have enough on my registry..this is my third kid! I told her no one is even looking at my registry lol I am just crazy hormonal lately..I'm trying to be nice but this is something silly to be stressing out about..I will ultimately buy anything I don't get at my shower..anyone have a weird issue like that?
11513017 tn?1425723993 We didn't have very many optionswith my first pregnancy, but we did have a Babies R Us. We did a registry there, Burlington coat Factory, and Walmart (so people had a cheaper option.) I think most people associated Babies R Us with babies best or maybe it's just that they really do have a bigger selection, but most bought from there and I'm not sure if anyone bought from Walmart unless it wasn't from our registry. I heard Buy Buy Baby is really good too.
721523 tn?1331581802 My Dr. wants me to start the new oral meds after the baby is born. I was on Betaseron for one year before we conceived. In that year, I had three relapses that required steroids. He said that ment that the Betaseron was not effective. One of the relapses really does not caount against the treatment because it was the 10th week of the treatment. I guess I am ok with trying the new meds. What do you all think? Would you try it? Do you think that it is a good idea?
Avatar f tn I've been on Betaseron since a year after I was diagnosed in 2000. On August 20th, I quit taking Betaseron cold turkey when I finally received my new oral medication Tecfidera. For the last few days I have been dealing with horrible body aches, diarrhea, cold sweats & the inability to eat (not feeling sick, just not being hungry or interested in eating). I do not have a fever, a cough, allergies or anything else I can conclude to be at fault for these annoying symptoms.
Avatar f tn I say definitely do a registry. It helps organize & prioritize what u do & do not need. My 1st I got tons of gift cards from where I registered & was able 2 buy what I wanted from my registry. It's true people don't always buy off the registry, but it gives you a guideline. When people would ask what do u need I replied the things on the registry. So they can look at ur registry & go somewhere else to get it.
Avatar f tn My Neuro wants me to switch from Rebif to Betaseron. I have been taking Rebif since March 09 and have had to do one round of Solu Medrol in May and will find out tomorrow if I have to do another. I also have pretty bad injection site reactions which is why the Neuro wants the switch. I guess Rebif has acid in the injection and it makes the site reactions worse? My question is, I am under the impression that Betaseron is not pre mixed and also that there is not an auto injector?
Avatar f tn I signed up online early on in my pregnancy, they sent me a registry booklet with a $20 off card attatched to take into Target when I start my registry. I've got the gift card now but they ALSO gave me a little baby bag with some starter things after I was done with my registry. If you haven't done so yet, you should do this. I've been pretty up and down about becoming a mom and I hate the idea of having a baby shower.
11533887 tn?1422330747 Just put it on your registry. Keep a registry for yourself and put stars by the MUST have before baby arrives (such as infant carrier) and know that if you do not receive it your shower, you must go get this. Easy to do because you don't have to shop . . . you have it right there what to get and you can go to your store and just say "I need this" and they can bring it to the counter for you. Does that make sense?
Avatar f tn Do Walmart give you free samples at when you open up a baby registry with them and if so what will you get.?
Avatar f tn Baby showers are helpful. Make a registry; I did mine on Amazon. If planning a shower is difficult, I've seen women send out pregnancy announcements with info to the registry on them. That way everyone knows how to find it, but you don't necessarily have a party.
338416 tn?1420045702 When I visited with the MS specialist, I mentioned my odd angioedema - whenever I got an injury to the face (usually either the dog bumping me in the lip, or biting my tongue) and the phlebitis in my leg. I also talked about the blood clot I had just recovered from. She went ahead and got a test for lupus anticoagulant, which was positive. Now, those people who test positive for the lupus anticoagulant don't necessarily have lupus.
Avatar f tn Walmart just started their registry so I am not sure how their's work. I know it would be free like every other registry. I prefer target babies r' us.
Avatar f tn I started my registry early and put gender neutral stuff on it. And now that we know we are team blue we are going to start shopping.
964234 tn?1331949207 just it seems that some people viewed the registry before they shopped and didnt actually use the registry when they checked out or knew that they should show it....im sure u will end up with lots of your items....and some things u registered for u will find that you may never use especially after talking with other moms!
925572 tn?1246540031 To provide information regarding the effects of in utero exposure to LAMICTAL, physicians are advised to recommend that pregnant patients taking LAMICTAL enroll in the North American Antiepileptic Drug (NAAED) Pregnancy Registry. This can be done by calling the toll-free number 1-888-233-2334, and must be done by patients themselves. Information on the registry can also be found at the website http://www.aedpregnancyregistry.org/.
Avatar f tn One thing that I found really helps relieve stress is thinking about the positive things in pregnancy and doing baby centered things. Doing a registry, reading a pregnancy book, or thinking of names. I know it can be hard. Good luck and congratulations!
Avatar n tn I registered at Babies r Us, and Target with my first pregnancy. I did get an awesome little gift bag with some cool stuff in it.
Avatar f tn For my first pregnancy I got nothing from my registry and I had 3 different stores! This time I wrote everything I wanted inside the invite and got just about everything I asked for.
