Believe it or not, my ex hubby and I are the best of friends and I could not ever go BACK to him. There was a time when I could've but I didn't want to.
At this time I am mourning another relationship that went bad and my ex hubby is one of my biggest supporters. I am hurting and I understand the obsessive thinking and the sleepless nights along with the constant crying.
Yet there will stretch out before you an ever-lengthening, ever-ascending, ever-improving path. You know you will never get to the end of the journey. But this, so far from discouraging, only adds to the joy and glory of the climb.
Don't interrupt me while I'm interrupting. Classic, hahaha.
You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life.
If you are going through hell, keep going.
Break ups can be so hard even when they are the best thing for us. (and this was the best thing for you------- in my opinion). I think keeping as busy as possible helps a little bit. What do you like to do? Any and all hobbies--------- start pursuing them. Add some exercise in as that releases a chemical in the brain which is our body's natural happy pill. Get together with friends and family. Plan a trip for yourself. Take a class. Treat yourself with kindness.
