avonex training video

How many of you using Avonex, never injected yourself but had help from family members? Also, what is your opinion of the new pen?

I have been on Avonex for the last 15 years and have finally reached my limit. I am taking a 6 week break from the Avonex and will be starting Copaxone at the end of April. I actually have two questions: 1) Has anyone taken a break from their medication for that long (and if so, any consequences) and 2) Has anyone switched from Avonex to Copaxone, and if so, how did you do?

I got a potty training book from the library and read it, my son will sit and watch the entire elmo potty training video over and over again. He hasnt gone in the potty yet. I dont think he understands that i am trying to teach him to use the potty and im not sure how to make him undstand. I have absolutly no help and no support from anyone. And was wondering if anyone could please help me by giving me tips and advise on how to potty train my son.

We hold screening visits in Portland 2-3 weeks before each training program. For August the screening dates are July 25th-27th, and for October the screening dates are Sept 12th-14th. You have a 50/50 chance of attending the 10-day diet training at the beginning of the study and a 50/50 chance of attending the diet training at the end of the study. Fortunately, we currently have enough funding for the study to pay for the cost of travel (flight and hotel).

I am a nurse and I was asked to do a training for an adult with a develope mental disability on masterbation and hygiene. Is there any free videos or information I could get to make this more easily understood for clients with disabilities?

Oh my goodness! I am so excited. Someone just posted a video for an Avonex self-injector. Of course it has yet to be approved by the FDA. Hopefully soon. Although an oral med or better yet one that comes in a hip flask might be better!

Hi anuj, I read ur question. I also diagnosed ms just few days ago, nd I also prescribed injection avonex. But I wish I could give u exact answer but I don't have any personally experience about avonex coz I don't start avonex yet but I know I will.Just m saying that i found on google that when ever u inject just relax, don't take any stress, u may get flu like symptom so take ibruphen, take rest how much u can, then of course, u can manage it.

I have not had any depression with taking Avonex but everyone is different so if this is a major concern to you make sure you talk to your dr about it. I was just informed last week by my nurse that was training me on how to use my Avonex pen they came out with a every two week injection for the Avonex I will definately be looking into that the less injections the happier I will be.

Is doing strength training without putting pressure on the ankles and doing occasional light cardio on bikes, sufficient to keep your fitness while you recover from ankle injury?

Ohhhh Jibby, ((hugs)) Weird huh? I cannot express it adequately really how it feels. You know, though, I have to giggle because I read your post and was slightly jealous. ;) I did not get a little Avonex Support Kid or prescription. I got a slip that said "Avonex" and the nurse filled out the forms to have the Avonex nurse come out. I'm not crazy about the injections either. I know I can do it but... I don't want to.

Also of the many video we originally borrowed from the library, then purchased is, 'I can go potty', which has a music video of just what you were saying on big kids - great video which he likes and gets his attention. He is somewhat obsessed with the pipping structure of the house, which is probably what created the whole problem in the first place as he was very aware of how large the main drain was in the basement.

When I was a really little kid, I would sit and play video-games all day! Now I only play video-games like 3 times a week, and only for a hour or so. Is there an effect that video-games can have you, to thwart my progress as an athlete?

It hurts between around and between shoulder blades. I stopped taking prednisone 3 days ago. I took my first does of avonex yesterday. I was diagnosed with MS few weeks ago. Is this MS, medication, or none of the above?

00PM. Unfortunately we decided to do it before we had the Avonex nurse come and give us the training in which she told us that in my case, the doctor prescribed a half dose for the first 4 weeks and a full dose thereafter and that injecting in the arm typically causes worse side effects for reasons I can’t remember. By about 2:00AM, I had a fever of 103 and the flu-like side effects were in full swing.

Hi, I was recently diagnosed with MS and had my first Avonex injection Friday. Friday night was tough (fever, chills, pain and eventually heavy sweating) but I felt pretty good by Saturday morning. Saturday afternoon I started feeling kind of down and by Sunday morning I feel even more so. I can't decide if this is a result of the drug or just the situation as a whole.

Sigh, I have a question from a friend. She would like to know if avonex causes calcium deficiency? She is diagnosed with ms. Not like me.
