Avatar f tn It can lower your blood pressure and may increase some of the side effects of Avapro. Do not use potassium supplements or salt substitutes while you are taking Avapro, unless your doctor has told you to. To be sure this medication is helping your condition, your blood pressure will need to be checked on a regular basis. Keep using this medication even if you feel fine. High blood pressure often has no symptoms.
Avatar m tn Hello, I'm a 37 yr old male and who has suffered with anxiety for many years. About 2 years ago, I discontinued taking Lexapro (took for about 8 - 10 years) and have been debating taking it again to help with my anxiety. Last year I was diagnosed with an IRBBB/Incomplete Right Brundle Branch Block. I am concerned about Lexapro and it's cardiovascular side effects, especially QT Prolongation which is listed as a potential side effect.
Avatar m tn I hope the doctor has a plan to monitor that. The other things are just the residual side effects of an ablation. Not fun but neither is the arrhythmia. Hope you feel better soon.
Avatar n tn Should I accept this latest result, or should I push my local doctor for a second referral for a second opinion? In my view, and with my constant symptoms, I think I am getting worse. Other tests have eliminated blocked arteries since my last scan.
786158 tn?1236397775 I have a long family history of heart disease and have high blod pressure (taking avapro) and gerd(taking protonix) I have noticed a frequency in the pvc's since i started the avapro and protonix. Do i need to do any further testing? Do you think that these pvc's are increasing do to the meds? Thanks so much!
Avatar n tn I do not know about this medication, or the possible side effects of it. I too am very wary of medications, especially if you consider that they say the brains of those on the spectrum are wired up differently. Also within my close family I have a number of people who react severely to medications and they are not even on the spectrum. As alot of the behaviour you are mentioning is sensory based I would recommend you read an article in Autism Today by a woman called Olga Bogdashina.
Avatar m tn https://www.drugs.com/amlodipine.html. Vision issues are considered rare. Here is a comprehensive list of side effects: https://www.drugs.com/sfx/amlodipine-side-effects.html. It also lists red, irritated eyes as a side effect. I think I'd let your doctor know you are having watery eyes.
Avatar f tn I am taking this med for blood pressure but now my legs are retaining fluid and I am having breathing problems are these side effects? I think I may even have some fluid on the lungs.
Avatar n tn My daughter is 15 and on Thurs June 5, 2008 she received her second shot of Gardasil. A couple of hours later she complained of difficulty breathing. I took her to the ER where they could find nothing wrong with her and made me feel as if I were crazy to think it was the Gardasil shot. They gave her a nebulizer treatment which didn't help and sent her home with a perscription for Albuterol, which too has not helped.
Avatar f tn This treatment has a high risk of psychiatric side effects, you need to find a doctor who is up to date on the treatment and side effects. Search the archives on this forum, its got lots of good discussions and information. Good luck.

Avatar f tn Keep in mind we're just patients here and no one has the last word on whether MJ use during treatment (and there are so many treatments now) is a good or bad thing. We all have different bodies and these meds play out differently on everybody. If my doc told me not to use MJ (perhaps they are privy to study info we are not privy to) I wouldn't, but that's just me. I never expected to get the EXACT same results as another person treating, it doesn't work that way.
Avatar f tn //www.drugs.com/sfx/plavix-side-effects.html Natural alternative: Nattokinase is a potent fibrinolytic (anti-clotting) enzyme extracted and highly purified from a traditional Japanese food called Natto. Nattokinase enhances our body’s natural ability to fight blood clots, and has an advantage over blood thinners because it has a prolonged effect without side effects.

Avatar f tn m just supposed to see him in about 2 months. Have you ever had severe dizziness as a side effect of the Norpace? I had a 3 hours spell a few days ago and happened to be at my primary care doctor's office when it started. He checked my blood pressure and heart rate and said it was not cardiovascular, but rather he thought, side effects from the Norpace. I was hot, sweating and nauseous. I am just now, 2 days later, starting to feel normal.
1063764 tn?1272821064 Hey I have been taking Tirosint for 3 months and I have had terrible side effects. I have lost so much more hair, I have broken out in hives, major headaches, memory loss, confusion, major depression, weight gain, on and on. I was taking armor before this and I had a lot less side effects. I felt so much better but the med world doesn't want to support armor for some reason so they fight against us taking it.
1009065 tn?1250630199 hi everyone i just wanted to know if anyone who is on sertraline has had any side effects and if they are common because i have just started taking this medication and is it sutible for a 16 year old as i have read somewhere that it should not be given to under 18's thnx for the help
Avatar f tn MD thinks this is anxiety not side effects. I am wondering if I need a new med or a much lower dose like 50mg to reduce the jitterness so I don't need the klonopin. I hate taking the klonopin even though it is a super low dose. Read too many horror stories. Any advice appreciated, thanks in advance.
3054080 tn?1358722856 My very inquisitive son wanted to look at my brain MRI images because he was curious about what my brain looks like and what a lesion looks like. So, I showed him. We got to the side view that shows a lesion and he said, "Mama, your nose is facing left, so wouldn't this be of your left side instead of your right?" My one, lonely lesion is supposed to be on my right side in my frontal lobe. I told him I didn't know and that is a good question.
