1236243 tn?1277680851 is having noticable adverse side-effects. Rumor monger statements and posts like this one are more scary than it actually should be. One step below crying fire in a crowded theatre. Moreover, it always seems to be a person told me, or it's about someone else. Could this post have been made by a competitor's detail rep? Yes, was it - who will ever know.

Avatar f tn Can I take Evening Primrose and Femara together? I'm also taking Avandia. Any thoughts would be great!
Avatar n tn Hello. Yes, suboxone can give major headaches. I wouldn't call them technically 'migraines' but yeah - bupe headaches are the worst - very migraine like (nauseous, sensitivity to light etc). I had major headaches at first, then very dull headaches after during my sub time. In the beginning - the first 2 weeks - they were pretty severe.. but your body does adjust and they will lessen or go away all together.
Avatar f tn When I came off of it, my doc put me on a taper as I came off of it. I did notice some side effects like naseau and increased anxiety, however I kept an open line of communication with the doc. I asked if it would be okay to go on a slower taper as I came off of it. He agreed and the slower taper seemed to help with the side effects. I am glad that you are seeing a psychiatrist to help you with your medication prescriptions and questions.
1375380 tn?1278892326 Do you recall how long it took the side effects to minimize for your son?
Avatar f tn What should I do?...I have been having a few minor side effects from it...But should I have it removed or finish the two years I have left on it?....
Avatar f tn I'm back with another question :-). DS is 11.5 yo, recently diagnosed. He was put on topamax and imitrex for migraines which are supposedly unrelated and are what sent us to the neurologist in the first place. Migraines continue, some tingling in hands and feet, which is likely the topamax. However, today he had a migraine (been on topamax just over three weeks). Once it wore off I took him to school.
Avatar m tn Hi, I have taken those two medications together before but I was also taking an antidepressant at the time as well. Which with my rapid cycling bipolar I shouldn't have been taking, this shouldn't affect how I found these two medications but I thought I should give all relevant information. Lithium affected my memory a lot, sometimes functioning for me was an issue as it made me at times feel like a zombie aswell.
Avatar n tn Very sorry to hear you are suffering this side effect. Metformin is in general, a good medication. There are others in the class such as Avandia. You can talk to your doctor about this. You might try drinking more water, eating more fiber (vegetables, whole grains), taking psyllium seed fiber and walking regularly. Each of those can help. Of course, there is always the laxative option but it's best to try the others first. Take it with meals, this helps.
1999115 tn?1332265324 being on birth control for 8yrs after a bad pregnancy, Surgery or an iud was my only 2 choices, at the age of 34. Any birth control has side effects. Both doctors put me on a antibotic a few days b4 the implant. My daughter had nothing but infections when she had hers put in. Her doctor never did antibotics, needless to say she had it taken out. Im beside my self bc my daughter was told by a specialist...not to have any baby for at least 5yrs.
Avatar f tn m a 27 y/o healthy female who has been on 25 mg of toprol for a week and a half now. Also, I had an AVNRT ablation done on August 6th which has produced some side effects like increased heart rate, dizziness and lightheadedness. The doctors put me on toprol to mitigate some of those issues. In any case, I am extremely fatigued to the point that my head feels like it weighs 50 pounds, I have weak spells, lightheadedness and all of that is creating some anxiety.
Avatar f tn Hi Everyone, I am on week two of the 12 week GS-7977 and ribavirin. I wondered if anyone has side effects from this. My nurse told me none of her patients have, but I don't feel well. Nothing I can't handle, I was just surprised. I am genotype 2. I have a headache all of the time, body aches, and I am very tired. I also am having a lot of heartburn. Any info would be great. Thanks.
963017 tn?1247161979 The nausea comes when im hungry and after i eat its replaced with diarrhea and/or gas. I figured that the side effects from Vitex would have happened by now but I know it takes awhile to build up in your system. Has anybody taken Vitex? Did it work? Any side effects? Thanks for your help!
Avatar f tn For 12 weeks My question is not so much about the Sovaldi but is there anyone out there on Ribavirin and if you are experiencing side effects of it? Does it get worse as the days progress. Is there anything you could do to help ease the side effects? This is definitely a life changing experience as I am 60 years old and just enjoying life as a grandmother. Would live to hear more about others and their experiences with the disease and treatments.
539209 tn?1225972263 Lyrica is wonderful once you get passed the side effects,,usually takes a week,,,,,Also lyrica is a schedule 5 drug,,with Morphine componants
2053416 tn?1330411192 Actos belongs in class of diabetes medications called thiazolidinediones. In this class are Avandia and a combination drug Avandamet [Avandia and Metformin]. Rezulin is in this class but not much known about it.
Avatar n tn Also go on the websites of the manufactures, sometimes they have coupons for a % off your bill. When I joint the avandia program I got a couple months free avandia, plus they send coupons at times. Also ask your md for samples. I use to work at a doctors office and we got enough samples to open a pharmacy. Another thing, if your job offers a flexible spending account, I find that is nice as well. it reduces your taxes and you can contribute up to 3000 a year to them. good luck.
Avatar m tn I can understand being put on meds if your numbers are really high, at least until you get things under control but as we are all finding out almost daily the new meds are not being tested as they should be or the drug companies are lying about the side effects so it would seem the Drs ( if they really have our best intrest at heart ) would try the natural remedies first, then if theydon't work go on to meds. Unfortunately that isn't the way it works ------ no money in that!
Avatar n tn During the test, I got cold and white, was unable to function well, semi unconsciousness, tremors particularly on the right arm, speech slurred, headache in the temple and forehead, fatigue. After many attempts to clear me from these side effects, they gave me a the antidote to the medication that they used. Did I have a heart attack?
1515000 tn?1294933998 Diamox, known to us as the devils drug! Yes, it is hard to take,But generally the side effects get easier after about 6-8 weeks. I am sorry to hear this is not the case with you. I found, anything with a lemon flavour, tasted like it should. I drank lemon dilute( as you must keep up your input of liquid while o Diamox) Also lemon flavoured chewing gum which helped with the thirst-dry mouth.
Avatar m tn I forget who, someone on this forum confirmed wireless routers as messing with them. This was for a medtronic ICD, if I recall correctly. The OEM said they were looking into reports of this issue.
Avatar f tn Well, I don't recall the earlier thread, but if a drug isn't working for you and is causing side effects that you can't handle it might not be the right med for you, assuming your situation is such that medication was an appropriate treatment to begin with.
